Apartment Vintage

Charming apartment. 20 min drive from Split Airport. you can get there by bus, car or taxi. there are several beach accesses nearby, depending on how far you want to walk. A grocery store is right next to the apartment, you'll find all essentials there. parking lot is full of cars 24/7 though. With rented car we went to several beaches on Ciovo and had lunch in Trogir. Both Trogir and Split made more positive impression compared to Dubrovnik which felt like tourist trap. the kitchen was fully equipped with complimentary spices, teas and coffee. the host shared some fruits and veggies from their garden. even though the place is close to the road, we were not bothered by the sounds of the traffic at night.

Air conditioner is installed in the living room, cooler air does not reach the farthest bedroom, even if you leave the door open. there is a ceiling fan that doesn't really help to cool down if you are visiting when the temperatures are above 30 degrees C. Church bells ran somewhat randomly and quite loud to wake you up early in the morning. the is a Pizza place in front of the house, when they fry something, the wind can blow all the smoke into the open windows. With the close proximity to the grocery store, in the evenings random people would drink beer and wine in front of your windows as there are no benches or places to relax nearby.

Clean and tiny rooms

The supermarket 20 metres from the appartment was a great thing. Warm water in the sea in June. The owner gave us several times vegetable growned in their own garden.

The nearby church which started ringing the bells very early in the morning.

Location is fantastic, megastore across the street, a lot of parking available in front of the appartment beach within walking distance. Two bathrooms are very benefitial. Apartment is also very clea. Private garden (pictures also seen) is perferct for breakfasts and dinner. I can fully recommend.
