The property and just were fine, but the external noise level made it uncomfortable.

The property was clean and well presented. The host was lovely.

The noise level made the property unacceptable and we left after one night of our paid for two night stay. You can hear the footsteps of the people in the floor above, the stairwell was noisy with the comings and goings of people and two tenants had very noisy cars.

We were visiting friends in Menen, and this accomodation in Comines is only 10 mins away. The accomodation itself is conveniently located, the end of the road (about half mile) is the town itself with restaurants, shops and church (market on Monday with excellent roast chicken). The other end of the road to the left has a Lidl and petrol station. The property is gated and uses a key fob. It has a car park enough for about 8 cars. We stayed at the top floor with the 3 loft windows (on the picture). The property was bright and airy, well-kept and clean. Has a dishwasher and nespresso machine w/ free coffee pods. Lots of crockeries. Check out is 11am w/c is good.

Just some pointers, but these will not deter us coming back again. The steps of the stairs are narrow for adult shoes so need to be careful especially when going down. And it is steep especially for little children so be careful, could do with a bannister/handle bar. The master's bedroom could be more spacious and airy by removing the big wardrobe that stands in the middle (it serves as a vanity on one side and headboard for the bed on the other side). There is only small space to pass from the bedroom door to either sides of the bed. The master's bed are 2 single beds together which makes a big bed (king) but the mattress toppers are also single so there is a gap in the middle. The toilet is opposite the master's and both doors open outwards so be careful when opening doors. For those w/ children, the windows do not have window restrictors but it can open 2-ways, you just have to fiddle w/ the handle and it will crack open the top part or the side. I wish they have instructions for these. The shower is inside the master's and has a bi-folding door. If you are with children, make sure to leave it crack open as it can be difficult to open at times.

When we return to this area we would gladly stay here again! Lovely little apartment.

The host was super friendly, stayed in contact with us on our journey, and met us upon arrival. The apartment was very clean and perfect for a long-weekend visiting the battlefields and museums of the First World War. There was a dishwasher and fully-equipped kitchen, a comfy sitting room with an extra sofa bed and two bedrooms, towels and bedding were provided. The local area is very nice, with a supermarket within walking distance and there was secure parking on site. We really enjoyed our stay.

I would stay again.

Nice little apartment to settle into for the weekend. The kitchen has nice space with a good size fridge/freezer and oven/stove, all in working order. The apartment was comfortable for the two of us. We did not try out the sleeper sofa.

My husband and I are not big people, but I will say the shower is very tiny, although the bathroom is a good size and very clean. A good knife set is needed.

Due to the how tall we are in the family the ceiling height was not ideal as apartment was in the loft conversion. Banged heads several times. If it was a ground floor apartment it would have scored 10
