We had a lovely stay at this property. It is very spacious and laid out nicely. The large garden is a bonus, the kids loved it. Great for a barbecue overlooking the endless rolling hills. The kitchen is very spacious, great for families, and it is very well equipped with everything you could ever need. Make sure you bring some essentials (milk, butter, eggs, bread etc) as there is no welcome pack like a lot of holiday cottages. The bedrooms are spacious, the beds are incredibly comfortable. There is space for one car on the drive as it is shared with the other houses, and plenty of space on road for parking. The owners were very helpful and kind, and replied to our enquiries promptly and fixed/remedied the few niggles we did have. The location is lovely, just a short stroll to the coastal path and a beautiful cove. We all loved beachcombing at the cove and found lots of sea glass and interesting shells/rocks, and watching the sun set. The cottage is also only a short drive to an array of beautiful sandy beaches. There is a great little pub just a few doors down. We throughly enjoyed our stay here, we would have happily stayed longer! What a beautiful part of the world!

Very well equipped property which was spotlessly clean. Whilst we were just a couple and were not looking for much in the way of cooking facilities the kitchen had everything one could have wanted.
Lovely bathrooms and a cosy feel to the whole place.
Good instructions and information.

The house is very beautiful. Enjoyed several challenging walks close by. Needed to bring supplies such as salt, pepper and basic spices. Also needed shampoo. Called on first day about five light bulbs out in kitchen and other rooms that were not replaced during our stay. Also needed a small non stick pan to cook eggs. Be aware that range top needed to be turned off and on to start working.

House was bigger and smarter than we had expected from the pictures. Had a great week here. Fantastic coastal walks right from the house. We enjoyed going to the little cove 10 mins walk away, and also driving 6 mins to Porthgain and then lovely 20 min walk along the coast path to a big sandy beach which was excellent for ball games and sea swimming. Useful Spar supermarket 5 mins drive away.
Friendly Ship Inn virtually next door and we greatly enjoyed the Open Mic night with a range of performers.
The house was extremely well equipped and perfect for 6 adults. Also suitable for children with stairgates etc. Lots of places to visit close by.

An absolutely amazing stay, spent 2 weeks here and the house was immaculately presented, catered for everything you could possibly need! every utensil you could want, different pillows and bedding if you don't like the feathers and a feel to it that just screamed family home. We all settled in quickly and comfortably as if it was our own house with 3 different generations to accommodate & cater for.
Owners were very helpful and informative on the local area on where's good to go to and then left us be to enjoy our holiday, but when called upon they instantly responded. Excellent hosts and can not thank them enough for letting us stay in their home!
Local area is amazing, coastal walks are breath taking and the local pub literally a minutes walk down the road were very welcoming and accommodated us whenever we asked for a table for 6 without booking with the food being extremely good as well. Trips out everyday as well with an abundance for things to do for all ages in and around the local area, Whitesands Beach and the Cathedral at St Davids a personal highlight for myself. Crisp clean air, friendly and welcoming locals, great food and scenery that dumb strucks you over and over again, absolute perfection in paradise!!
We all fell in love with the property, the people and the area so much so we are currently looking at properties to move to the area! if you get the chance to book this beautiful place you are very lucky indeed and hope you enjoy as much as we all did.

We came for a family holiday with four adults and two children.
The cottage was absolutely lovely, the rooms were comfortable and spacious and the garden was great. We couldn’t ask for a better location with cliffs and secluded beach just a short walk away with stunning views.
The hosts were very friendly with lots of helpful suggestions for places to visit.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Luxury is always relative, but the house was perfect for our troop....grandparents, daughter/husband and 14, 11 yo granddaughters. Communication was easy, house was spotless, and had everything you need.
But the location is simply outstanding! Direct access to north or southbound Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Children loved walking down to water's edge to skip rocks. You are 30min, N or S, to all kinds of POI.
And a couple doors down from The Ship Inn...for our evening meals.
Our week stay was highlight of our 5 week travel of Wales. Can't imagine a better VRBO for our needs.

The house and garden are terrific, everything you could possibly need! Lots of storage space in the kitchen; great appliances, cookware, dishes, etc.. Our group included a 2 and 4 year old, their parents, and grandparents, and we were all very comfortable. Absolutely no complaints about the house which I find incredible. Trefin is a darling village, easy walk to the beach, and great walks in general, especially along the cliffs. We all enjoyed St. David's and the Bug Ranch, great even without children in tow. Pembroke Castle, about an hour away, was fabulous. Lots of brochures of the area; very helpful book on the house and area. The Ship Inn, almost next door, had great food and even live entertainment one of the times we visited. Highly endorse this home and area! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home!

spacious, very clean and a nice location
If you are into cliffs, beaches, nature, paddle boarding, neolithic burial sites and artisan ice cream, then North Pembrokeshire is the place for you. We stayed here at the end of August and missed the puffins (by a month), but caught the seal pups (yay!). The house is very clean, spacious and very well equipped with lots and lots of things to do and see nearby (if you have any of the aforementioned interests). The pictures are a fair and accurate representation of the property and I wholeheartedly recommend it as a holiday rental.

Fab house, great location!
This is our second time that we have stayed at this property and once again we could not fault it. It is a lovely 'home from home', very spacious with an enclosed garden that was great for the grandkids. It also has everything that you could possibly want for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The location is fab; great views and only a short walk down to the Welsh Coastal Path and a very pretty little cove. The village has a friendly pub and a great cafe that serves very tasty, home-cooked food.
I would recommend this to anyone and would love to come back again in the future.

Fab house, great location!
This is a lovely, spacious and comfortable house which has everything that you would want in a 'home away from home'. We spent a few days here when the weather wasn't the best but the house was a warm & welcoming place to come back to. The house has lots of child-friendly features as well as a safe & enclosed garden, ideal for the warmer months.
It's in a great location with easy access to the Coastal Path and a short walk from the house is a small cove where we enjoyed watching seals. Within the village there is a friendly pub and a great cafe (open every day except Monday). There are also plenty of things to do and see within a short drive including the city of St. David's.
I would definitely recommend staying here!

A home from home
Excellent facilities and baby friendly! Large house so plenty of space and beautiful views of the fields.
We loved that it is a few minutes walk to a beach where we could see seals in the sea. Access to other places of interest via car journey is easy.
We are sad to be leaving and will tell all our friends and family about this place.

Perfect getaway cottage
Absolutely perfect coastal cottage. The house was even better than the photos suggest. Spacious, sparkly clean and full of thoughtful touches - this is the perfect base to investigate Pembrokeshire. Location was also fab. Short walk to a little beach and a short car journey to some amazing waves. Just lovely.

Lovely Property
Property was very clean as described and well fitted out. Had everything needed and more. Small feedback would be, bit messy at the front with bins, old toys bags etc. Also, would benefit from a small bench/seat in porch for oldies to sit on whilst putting boots on. Also, plastic old chairs on decking a juxtaposition with the fittings, style and interior quality of the house.

Christmas Cottage Christmas break
Lovely home near the sea, quiet and rural. Lovely coastal walks nearby and not far from beaches. Two great eateries in Haverfordwest, Sloop Inn and the Shed lovely food and staff. Cottage is bigger than it seems from outside, kitchen great size. Mass at At David's Cathedral with engaging priest and warm welcome. Bedrooms comfy and underfloor heating makes it cosy.

Wonderful cottage!!! Lovely views!!! A dream!!!
What can i say!! This cottage is beautiful!! You always worry when booking somewhere that it will be nice, well you won't be disappointed!!! The cottage is very well equipped and really has everything you could think of, it truly is a home from home experience. The location was lovely for relaxing but also as a base to explore further afield. Bruce and Hedi are lovely and nothing was to much trouble. Check in was easy as there is a key box on the wall. There is a little beach cove 5 min walk down the lane which my children adored. We would spend most evening after tea exploring its rock pools and cave. If you want a holiday where you can come away feeling i want to come back, this is the place for you.

June 2019 Quiet & Relaxing week
House was spacious and well furnished / maintained. Equipment was of a high standard throughout with large fridge, freezer, cooker and supported by dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. Large modern TV with elements of Sky available at no extra charge. Good water pressure and always hot water available. House and village were very quiet - just what we wanted. No traffic or other external noise. Very close to coast path with hour walk to next village that had a restaurant. Local Spar outside village about 5 mins drive is well stocked with basics, but not much in the way of lactose or gluten free products, for which a journey to Haverfordwest was required (if arriving from the East you can buy on the way through). Nice long views over farmland from master bedroom and completely dark at night. When wind blows however there is a small gap that whistles. Don't usually return to a holiday rental but if I wanted another quiet week would definitely go back here.

A home away from home
This property was well equipped, clean, comfortable, warm and a pleasure to stay in. It is close to the pub and cafe and is a great starting point for walks around the area. It is very near to Wales’ smallest city - St David’s - which is a charming and historic place to visit and the village of Solva was very interesting too. All our day trips were enhanced by the beautiful scenery that surrounded us. We had a truly wonderful stay.

Lovely home for a family stay
The house is ideal for a family with young children. The house has been nicely done - everything we could want was there and it's a good base to explore the beaches, costal walls and at David's.

Really well equipped cottage, beautifully kitted out to high standard.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage has been tastefully renovated to a high standard and has been well thought out and equipped to cater for families including toddlers/babies. Trefyn is perfectly situated to make access to close by places of interest including St David’s, Silva, Porth Gain, the Blue Lagoon at Aberreiddy, the coast path and a number of beautiful beaches. I would highly recommend this cottage as a great place to stay for a family holiday.

Fantastic House...One of best holiday homes we have stayed in .. Gorgeous part of the world.
Fantastic house and didn’t want to leave. We spent a fortnight here and could have stayed even longer!! In fact my husband didn’t want to come home!
This is a very well equipped property with everything you could possibly need. Kitchen is fabulous and wish I could take it home ! Heidi great at replying to emails with handy advice prior to holiday and her dad who lives next door was a star who gave us lots of advice re places to go to entertain the kids.
With 2 teenage children not sure what to expect as never been to this part of the world before. But it was amazing. Scenery is gorgeous and such a lovely laid back pace of life. Coastal walks are wonderful and vary in length and difficulty so something for everyone.
We preferred the quieter beach at Abereiddy next to blue laggoon and also the beach in between Porthgain and this beach ( very secluded but lots of steps down )
Porthgain is very picturesque and we enjoyed coffee and lunch there after our walks in the Sloop Inn.
St David’s is not far by car and a lovely place to just chill and relax in. Cathedral Is definitely worth a visit.
We went on the boat trip to Ramsay Island on our last day and it was the kids highlight ( fast speed boat!)
Definitely will be returning.
Thanks for a fabulous house Heidi .

A lovely holiday, very lucky with the weather. Sunny, windy and very little rain. Walked 50 miles during the week coastal circular walks.
The Ship Inn, a stones throw away., is very welcoming with a range of enjoyable meals.

Lovely house and great base to explore Wales
We stayed at this house during October half term with our 2 children (5 & 7yrs). The property has a lovely, homely feel - it's really clean and well looked after with a well equipped kitchen, enclosed rear garden which was great for the children and nice bathrooms and bedrooms. We felt very at home there and the children loved it. It is located near the cost in the village of Trefin - you can walk to the coastal path from the property (about 20 mins to the cliff path), and the village itself has a lovely café which is family friendly and serves great food, plus there is a pub about 1 min walk from the house! We explored the Pembrokeshire area and found it very easy to access a number of activities which were great for the children - Folly Farm, Blue Lagoon Water Park, beaches and walks, etc. A great family-friendly property!

Tanellan, Trefin
This is one of the best-appointed and most comfortable cottages we have stayed in over more than 10 years. From outside the front it looks rather unremarkable, but once through the door we were amazed and impressed by the spaciousness of every room, the massive amount of storage space, particularly in both the kitchen and the bedrooms. The layout and fittings in the kitchen, with the huge fridge and the island work-area, were to die for. Unfortunately the weather, which was fine for coast-path walking, was not sunny or warm enough for us to enjoy the garden, though we did manage evening drinks on the outside decking a couple of times. Altogether a memorable stay.
The only hitch was that neither the owners nor the agents had given us the code for the key-box by the front door, which nonplussed us a bit on arrival, until the parent of one of the owners, who lives next door, spotted our difficulty and gave us the code!

Beautiful home in a quiet corner of Pembrokeshire
A beautiful home, immaculately clean and everything one could want. Very comfortable and like one's own home rather than a typical "holiday let". We'd definitely recommend it. The surrounding area is beautiful; St David's a gem and Whitesands beach a delight.
