Great location. Nice to have 2 bedrooms.

You can’t ask for a better location if you want to stay in the old city, but it comes at a cost of some comfort. We are short people, but we kept bumping into things as we moved about the apt. The top floor with the 2nd bedroom has A/C, but the main bedroom does not. The air conditioning for that room is in the living room/dining room/ kitchen so you need to leave your bedroom door open to feel it from that room. The kitchen counter is very small. It can accommodate the width of a plate. The gas burners didn’t work so we used the 1 electric burner, but the one pan was a little big for that burner and had to squeeze in. The coffee maker didn’t work. I reached out for help and was told to plug it in with an extension cord. If it had worked, we were only left with 3 pods for 2 adults for 2 nights. Would have had tea instead for my caffeine boost but the apartment didn’t have that either, just fruit tea. Kitchen doesn’t have an ice cube tray. There was a nice selection of spices for someone to cook with. The light bulbs are bright white and harsh. We unscrewed some of them. The main bed is very soft, but some people may prefer that. It’s a very small space with the dining room table blocking some of the essential drawers for silverware, etc. We were ready to accept the limitations of a stay inside the palace walls, but some of these issues are avoidable.

Right in the heart of the Diocletian Palace complex, the location was fantastic! Compact yet plenty of space, clean, well stocked with anything you might need.

It didn't affect us, but if you're physically impaired then you might struggle to get up the steps to the loft bedroom.
