Good property. Poor communication

Good location clean tidy & enough facilities for a two night stay. Happy to recommend.

The property was fine. Minor moan on toilet location but otherwise it’s very good. However the communication with the owners was poor. They used an incorrect email address to send request for a damage deposit of €300 to be sent to their personal accounts rather than through Booking.com. I had to chase leaving messages and when I didn’t get a response so felt this was a scam ( it is not ) but it cost me €600 in fees on another hotel that refused to accept that cancellation. The owners did finally contact ( they were on holiday) but the damage was done. This was down to the owners and is a common thread for this property. A shame because it is good.

Host too strict and controlling

The key to the house is in a key box at the front door, which ensures a convenient arrival. The house is big and has two nice terraces.

The house was cold and the thermostat was blocked by a pin-code! Because the heating stopped automatically in the evening, the cold forced us to go to sleep! The contract you need to sign in advance threatens you with fines if you don't follow some strict rules. That made us a little nervous about staying in (and checking out of) the house (e.g. dishes not clean €25, an open window with the heating on €25, uncleaned garbage cans €20, late checkout €25...). Overall: not the relaxing time in Spa we hoped for!

A great house for a group stay in a beautiful area!

The location was central in Spa. We loved the little garden. The rooms and kitchen were big enough and comfortable.

very nice place to stay near the centre of SPA

The house is very nice and cosy, with a beautiful bathroom and the kitchen is very well equiped. We did not mind the stairs, but they may be less ok for little children or elderly people. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house is located near the centre of the town, so you could easily walk to the bakery in the morning. It was a rainy weekend, so we were not in the garden, but it must be nice to use the BBQ and sit in the garden when the weather is fine. The area is lovely with lots of opportunities for walking.

It was raining on Sunday morning, so we would have preferred to still have lunch at the house, but that was not feasible as departure time was 11 am, which we found a bit early. Departure time at 1 pm would have been fantastic, but this is just a minor item, we really enjoyed our stay.
