This magical and special place was so relaxing, tranquil, peaceful, and beyond what I had expected. The gardens and scents of nature mae this a unique place to visit. The comfortable rooms and wonderfully helpful hosts made this a most memorable stay.

Excellent location and lots of useful tips of places to visit from the property owners, who welcomed us, were caring, attentive and explained how the lavender essential oils are produced. Very interesting. Swimming pool a lovely treat after a hot day out. Nice idea to have a communal cool place with fridge for personal foods etc. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of interesting places to visit of archaeological interest, walking etc. The location is outside Castelo de Vide, which is easy to drive up to.
A personal matter of taste, but I was expecting an older farmhouse. The property is more modern in style, but nothing negative to say. Best time for lavender in flower is late spring/early summer.
