With its breathtaking natural landscape and rich cultural offerings, the Bavarian Forest stands out as a popular vacation destination for young and old. In the southern part, the lower Bavarian Forest, lies this cozy vacation apartment, about 7 km outside the village of Untergriesbach.
The vacation apartment is located on the first floor of a detached house, in the middle of nature and is the perfect place for those seeking peace and quiet.
It is divided into living room, three bedrooms, bathroom and a large covered terrace. The living room with couch, dining area and open kitchen offers space for the whole family to have breakfast together. Bread rolls, eggs, milk and honey can be ordered from the owner.
One bedroom is equipped with a double bed. The second bedroom with a double bed as well as a baby crib and has as a passage room access to the children's room with bunk beds. The covered terrace in the style of a winter garden invites you to spend sociable hours with the family outdoors. The outdoor chess set, table tennis table, trampoline and swing provide variety.
Enjoy a delicious barbecue evening in the grill kota or in nice weather also with the swivel grill in the garden.
Experience the perfect vacation experience with the family, hiking and biking through nature. The Bavarian Forest is the largest forest landscape in Central Europe with a large national park and the only primeval forest in Germany.
Visit the Silberberg near Bodenmais, with a guided tour through a real silver mine and a ride on the chairlift also the rocky summit.
From Untergriesbach it is only about 5 km to the border with Austria, so a side trip is a good idea.
A trip to the 3-river city of Passau is also highly recommended. Visit the city with its many cultural sights.

Het huis is prachtig gelegen in een rustige landelijke omgeving. Goed onderhouden tuin.
In de omschrijving op de site stond dat het appartement voorzien was van 2 badkamers. Dit is helaas niet het geval. Hierdoor moesten we nogal improviseren in ons gezelschap.
Ook ontbrak de vaatwasmachine.
Toch wel gezellig om steeds weer met de hand af te wassen al was dit in eerste instantie een teleurstelling.
Al met al was het een geweldige vakantieweek mede door het mooie weer.
