Worst experience in a long time

The room is spacious, but it quickly loses value against the background of the overall negative impression.

There is no private kitchen as stated in the advert: it is shared and quite small. Every time we went in or out, the hysterical little dog living in the house came barking at us (and once tried to claw us) with the complete connivance of the landlady. There are a number of other faults, but everything pales against the extremely unpleasant style of communication of the hostess herself. We often stay in apartments, but we have not encountered such an attitude for a long time, and in Lithuania - never at all.

It was a nice, trouble-free experience.

I paid for the highest apartment in the guesthouse, i.e. the attic. There was a warning before I had booked, that the ceiling is slanted, so people higher then 180 cm might feel uncomfortable. I am 185 cm and ineed had to bend down a bit in the bathroom's shower. I did not find it particularly uncomfortable. The apartment had a huge verandah, cosy cauch, lots of light points to choose from, refrigerator, TV, working heating plus many cupboards and drawers. It was clean and comfy. Common kitchen on the 1st floor is very well equipped. I was using mainly Bolt or Uber to commute (Bolt works much better there) and paid on average 5 to 8 € to get to various points in the City Centre or Old Town. Nearby I could find a nice grill restaurant (2 min walk). Walking distance from the city centre is about 15 min, more to Old Town. I did not try public transport. I am very happy: for the price I paid for 5 days, I would be able to spend a day and a half in a hotel in much-much smaller room and with less facilities. I recommend this place for both solo travellers and couples.

Das Zimmer ist außergewöhnlich groß für eine private Unterkunft mit einem Blitz sauberen Bad und der Möglichkeit, in der Gemeinschaftsküche sich eigene Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten. Hinzukommt, dass die liebenswürdige Gastgeberin, einem mit wichtigen Informationen, zum Beispiel zu den Möglichkeiten mit Bussen die Innenstadt zu erreichen, weiterhilft, so dass man sich dort auf Anhieb gut orientieren kann.

Hier gibt es nichts auszusetzen!
