Good place to visit Piran. Great breakfast.

Best location - only 30 minutes walk to Piran along seaside promenade. Free and convinient parking. Top notch breakfast.

Room is old, but it is bearable for all other benefits of this place.

Old furniture, non-working AC, not worth the price

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was also nice.

It is quite far from the city center when walking. The equipment in the room was old, renovation needed. The worst was the non-functioning air conditioner. It was very hot in the room, there was an AC, but it was not working, so it was quite unpleasant to sleep there.

Great location, very bad room temperature

The location of the property for exploring Piran and Portorož on foot is perfect. The breakfast is also quite ok, with a wide variaty of ingredients and beautiful views of the adriatic sea.

The room had an AC that was set to 26°C, and its remote (mounted on the wall) was locked (all the buttons were unresponsive), so it was impossible to change the temperature in the room. And as you can imagine, 26°C is way too hot for a proper sleep. We wanted to use the window to let some fresh air in, but there were no musquito nets. Plus the window was actually the door that didn't support tilt open, but instead opened fully to a terrace that was on the ground floor, so anyone could access it and enter the room when opened. Hence, using a window was also not an option. This issue resulted in a night of extremely poor sleep.

Breakfast was ok. Perfekt was Marine world with pools. Although 10€ for umbrella was a bit too much. We also liked the promenade to Piran And Portoroz.

Reception for check-in is in hotel Histrion. Should be labeled somehow, we were searching for hotel Vile Park, as shown in pictures. Accomodation could be better. Air conditioning was the best part. Sink was clocked. Shower box was leaking. There was nothing we could hang our wet towels and swimsuits on. And we had two beds instead of one twinbed. Parking lots are quite far from accomodation - at least they are free for hotel guests.

Dirty old looking stinky room. We had to ask for a room change due to this. Afterwards we got newer one.

Pleasant

Buffet-style breakfast was in other hotel on same compound (Histrion ****), abundant and of wide choice. The location is at walking distance from Piran which is very nice and small village with lots of good restaurants. Roomy accommodation and very clean.

No reception at Vile Park possibly due to seasonal needs, room was smelly but clean, only local TV channels but with very bad reception (lots of pixelating).

Breakfast was super, but it was served in another hotel which is a some kind of “sister” hotel that looked much better than our hotel of stay.

1. Parking (it was far from the hotel 2. Price of the room - (we paid more than 5 star hotel with breakfast per night). The hotel is very old ( from the period of socialist Yugoslavia) and barely renovated. There was also bugs inside the room. 3. Awful approach to the lobby/reception which was in another hotel (the same one we had breakfast in) 4. Definitely something went wrong in calculating the price for room at this hotel - ville park.

Excellent location for both, Portoroz and Piran. Good breakfast with many choices. Powerful air conditioning in the room.

The room was a bit renovated, but withopen heating tubing across walls and ceiling. The bathroom was small, delapidated, with a rusty & flakey & dusty radiator as well as a non working shower rack. No safe the room Altogether not acceptable at the rates they charge per night...

Great location, exceptionally clean, good breakfast with lots of options. The bell boys we’re very helpful. Indoor pool had multiple pools.

The price they made us pay was not price in our confirmation from Booking.com (they charged us approximately 15 Euros more). First they gave a room which was much smaller than the one booked and it had only 2 beds not 3 as our per our booking. After I complained it took them a very long time to resolve the problem. The staff at the reception desk had nearly no clue of anything, and some didn’t speak any language other than Slovenian, and some had an attitude as if they were doing us a favor by doing their job. At check out they wanted to charge us a room which was someone else’s, it took several minutes to figure out which room we should be charged for. Have been to many hotels in the past but never experienced such lack of professionalism as we did here.

perfect locations and very good breakfest/dinner. Cleanless didnt meet the aceptable expectations!

breakfast and location are great, no complanes there... The facility is old, not renovated and even though we were aware that we most probably wont get any luxiourus room, we expected at least to be clean...

cleanless... garbage under the bed, haar in the bathroom...unregular changing of the towels...2 dayes without toalet paper...super durty balcony with cigarets leftowers...we were not able to use it at all...

Nice stay with our family of five

Very well located, in a beautiful area. Not too crowded (easy to get access to breakfast buffet, pools, ...). Pools are nice, with great accomodation for kids. There is airco in the rooms. There are restaurants and bistro, small shops, nice promenades, ...

Rooms were a little bit old and show different evidences of aging, especially in the bathrooms.

I do not recommend you staying at this poperty

Hotel Vile Park does not deserve 3 stars and this price. Our room was not a room, it was a cave! Dark, just small window, not clean and really really old furniture and bathroom, too. On the reception were not kind, I showed them picture with little animals and he said, oh it is open “hotel”, so everything can come inside, this is not our fault. He forgot to say I am soo sorry or something. Only food was delicious (at the hotel Histrion). And I have good bad experience with the price. It was written, that dinner costs 15€ and I showed them, but they said to me, no, booking make a fail, our dinner for you costs 20€.

-stuff on the reception -old furniture, really old -cleanliness (small animals) -too high prices for dinner (20€ instead 15€)
