Très bonne communication avec la propriétaire. Nous avons été accueilli en personne par une voisine qui parlait notre langue (le français). L'appartement (au 4ème étage) est spacieux pour 2 personnes, les deux pièces ont accès au grand balcon. Très bon WiFi. Matelas de très bonne qualité, lit 180 x 200 cm. Tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner est à disposition. Grand parking extérieur sécurisé. Logement à proximité (en voiture) de Alvor, très jolie ville avec de nombreux restaurants sur le port, et de magnifiques plages. Nous avons privilégié Alvor qui est facilement accessible depuis le logement, sans traverser la circulation dense de Portimao.
La piscine était en travaux durant notre séjour (fin avril 2026). L'ascenseur de l'immeuble, et certains éléments de l'appartement pourraient être plus modernes.

Liked the design and size of the apartment, lots of kitchen supplies, big balcony and view, a possibility to use the pool and have breakfast downstairs (upon advanced booking and payment). Within uber distance (4-6€) there are amazing coasts, salt mashes and wonderful beaches.
Owners were very service minded, gave lots of tips, reacted quickly to problems (shower was clogged) and even agreed to compensate for inconveniences and shortage of some necessities (though only upon 100% review, which I do honestly anyway).
Our biggest problem was VERY hard beds. My husband moved to sofa in the living room, but it was so sqweaky.
The apartment is far from all supermarkets, restaurants and good beaches. We used Uber a lot. Nearest beach we did not like: very crowded even in September, and toilets - below criticism.
Be aware of echo in the yard - you hear all noises from transport, kids, garden maintenance, but I guess this is a common problem in all large buildings.

It’s a good walk from the center of Portimão and to the grocery store.
