nice views out to sea, quiet location in the hills, breezy so not too hot. Spacious place. Friendly people running it that were helpful.

The place really needs attention and some money spending. Bear in mind the pool is closed out of season but this is normal. The problems really were the fixtures and fittings: oven didn't work, hob didn't work but they brought us a lighter, there weren't enough plates, the pans were falling apart, the sink leaked with badly taped up wires dangling in the water, the chairs didn't fit under the table, there was a toilet brush in the flowerbed, the pool table wasn't level, the water is dangerously hot or very cold (nothing in between), only 5 forks for 6 people, no colander, no frying pan, no sugar, no tea towels, no cheese grater, no garlic press, corkscrew was broken, no bottle opener, the bulbs in the rooms were far too dim to light the room(!), 1 bar wifi reception which failed totally for 2 days, dirty stained (disgusting) chopping board, could not run both showers at the same time, barbecue was broken and in pieces opposite the apartment. Litter all the way up the road to the place - I know this is common in sicily but if I owned the resort I would have cleaned it up.
