Lovely stay

Lovely little old house, some lovely fridge items left for us, plus rum (we didn’t partake) and scones! Garden areas are beautiful, very quiet area with lovely views Lane is more narrow than can be pre warned. We didn’t use our car once whilst staying mind, we walked everywhere.

Comfortable and homely cottage

The cottage was very comfortable and homely with everything we needed and more. Fabulous outside space for kids. Ten min walk to good pubs in the village.

The lane to the cottage was very narrow and our Peugeot 3008 just about squeezed up with care but smaller cars will be fine.

Perfect base in St Agnes

Everything, nice touches from the owners leaving us some fresh scones, milk etc. My friend enjoyed the pirate ship. Lots do outdoor space, dogs would love it. Location gorgeous. Very quiet little lane, 10 mins walk into the village, 20ish to the beach. Locals very friendly. Would recommend visiting nearby Holywell Bay and Godrevys beach which are a short drive away and the best beaches we found. Beds comfortable. Master bedroom just fabulous. We didn't want to leave.

The directions could have been a bit clearer, we drove past the entrance to the lane and it's not the easiest area to navigate a car around due to narrow lanes. Could have done with more comfortable seating in the living room but honestly was fine for a couple of hours in the evening. Second bedroom small but I guess it's meant for kids (we were 2 friends staying together with separate bedrooms). I'm still giving a 10 because these things didn't affect our stay or our enjoyment. We'd go back again and recommend in a heatbeat

Extraordinary and lovely cottage

Ruth and Pete really care about the property and guests. Everything you need and much more is there. The garden room was the place we liked most. And the outdoor area was great, too. It‘s a house with character and history combined with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Thanks for having us!

just as Information: if you like to park next to Ruth and Pete you have to be a good driver… but it‘s possible ☺️

Cosy, tucked away, a perfect distance from the town to feel secluded but still be on the doorstep.

The property is a lovely balance of traditional, cosy cottage with all the mod cons you could need.

We made the mistake of trying to get up the lane and didn’t fit, but we were warned! and alternative parking next door was a good alternative.

Superb peaceful location for a relaxing holiday. Hosts were extremely friendly and showed us around the property. Very thoughtful arrival goodies with bread, milk, jam, orange juice scones and clotted cream with a nice bottle of Prosecco. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay and the property was lovely and clean. Within easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, bakery and the beach. Some lovely walks. Very highly recommended, we will certainly return.

Fantastic!

Lovely place to stay. Welcomed by the hosts after a long car journey from London. Very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!! Short walk into the local village for supper and breakfast and also a short walk to the beach. Could have used the excellent kitchen facilities but we decided to treat ourselves. The cottage has a lovely light and bright conservatory too.

A wonderful stay in one of the prettiest parts of St Agnes

Wonderfully charming; Pete and Ruth were absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The cottage had everything we needed - and lots more beside. The cottage itself and its location were wonderful and there is so much to see and enjoy in the area.

A wonderful cottage for a perfect holiday to Cornwall.

Everything. Location was brilliant for accessing different Cornish towns such as Perranporth and a trip to the Eden project. House was wonderful- a 'proper ' Cornish cottage! Thougtful extra touches provided. The garden was spectacular. Lovely hosts too - we will certainly return.

Fabulous Spot

Wren's Nook is a total home from home. The hosts were so welcoming (as was there outrageously cute puppy Dante.) Attention to detail of everything you may need at the cottage made our stay all the more special. Thanks again Ruth and Peter - we will be back!

Perfect relaxing holiday!

We have just spent a lovely week in this quiet and beautiful house and grounds in St Agnes. The enclosed huge garden (field) had swings for the girls to stay for hours whilst we enjoyed the solarium. We walked everywhere. Didn't even take the car anywhere. I loved there was some food (and prosecco!) provided on arrival so we had everything we needed for snack and toasts for breakfast the following day. You just have to be careful driving very slowly up the access lane. We had a C5 and did it with no problem.

Perfect holiday cottage

The cottage was great and just as described set in a peaceful country lane, but in walkable distance to the beach and village. Pete and Ruth were very helpful and approachable. It was a perfect home away from home experience, our 3 year daughter did not want to leave it.

Peaceful, well appointed cottage. Very modern and tasteful decor. Good facilities.

Access for anything other than a small car is a problem. The cottage is located on a very narrow lane.
