About this apartment rental
The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a traditional town house, located in a residential area of CERET with easy street parking, close to the local swimming pool and tennis courts. It has an independent entrance, 1 bedroom, a lounge with dining area, a separate kitchen, a bathroom with an Italian style shower and separate WC.
The secluded garden has a shady entirely private terrasse where you can eat al fresco and enjoy a welcome rest on your return from your many visits and explorations of this beautiful and culturally rich area.
The apartment is ideally suited to couples and seniors.
Please note that parties and gatherings of any kind are not allowed on any part of the premises by day or night.
A short walk will take you to the town centre where you can stroll along the narrow cobbled streets or follow the local pastime of sitting at cafes sipping a cool drink in the shade of age old plane trees watching the world go by.
A large choice of restaurants, shops and all amenities as well as a supermarket with petrol station and a colourful Saturday market cater for all needs.
Aficionados can enjoy tasting Roussillon wines at the numerous domains and restaurants.
CERET is renowned for its cultural tradition launched by artists like Picasso, Braque, Soutine, Dufy and many others.
Around town, there are many interesting walks suited to all abilities.
CERET is ideally situated halfway between the Pyrenean mountains and the Mediterranean Sea with a choice of sandy beaches or rocky coastlines.
You can also explore Perpignan and other interesting sites by public transport at the costs of only 1 euro.
For the more adventurous, a 30’ to 1 hour’s drive can provide exciting excursions including outstanding detours to the Cathar castles or Dali’s Museum in Figueres, just across the Spanish border.
It is possible to visit all year round as the region provides over 300 days of sunshine but the best times are late Summer and early Autumn with no crowds and milder weather.

We loved our stay at Ta Maria in Ceret. Eliane and Christian were very welcoming and helpful.The garden flat was spacious inside and out. It was a great base for the surrounding Catalan region which we loved exploring. The town Ceret itself was lovely - very chilled out with a fabulous Art Gallery and a lovely Saturday market. We would definitely recommend a visit here.

En ce qui concerne le logement il est très bien équipé avec un jardin agréable la location est bien située géographiquement notre déception c’est l’accueil des propriétaires pas très aimables même sans contact comme précisé dans l’annonce ils auraient pu se montrer davantage à notre écoute lorsque nous demandions quelques renseignements
