About this villa rental
The property is on the waterfront, with access to the sea, in the area of Akrtotiri - Otzia, 10 minutes from the port of the island and one and a half hours from the airport. The villa is on 8,000 sq meters plot of land with the sea surrounding it on two sides, in a very quite and private location, but with easy access to restaurants and shops. Surrounding the villa are large terraces, all offering fantastic sea views, as well as a very large terrace with a sea water swimming pool to the side of the villa, where one can relax on one of the sunbeds with a glass of wine while enjoying the sea view as well as the amazing sunsets. Near the swimming pool is a large shaded area with a seating and dining area, which leads directly into the villa.
The villa has been tastefully and elegantly decorated, giving one a feeling of peace and harmony. There is a large living room with high ceilings and wooden beams, a seating area with comfortable sofas, from where there is a view of the sea, a dining area and a large fully equipped open-plan kitchen. The living room leads on to the entrance hall, the guest w.c and the three bedrooms of the main house. The master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a fantastic sea view leads onto a private terrace. The second and third bedrooms, both with an en-suite bathrooms again lead on to a terrace with a sea view. Near the main house and overlooking the swimming pool and the sea, is an independent guest house with a living room, which has a sofa bed for a child, a kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom.
There also a second guest house near the main house, with a living room with a double bed,, a small kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom.
Amenities: Internet, 48" Sony Flat screen TV, Gas BBQ, air conditioning and ceiling fans in the 5 bedrooms, mosquito blinds, books, table games, parking for 4 to 5 cars, pool shower, pool towels, linen and towels provided, fireplace, heating, kettle, filter coffee machine, Espresso machine, oven, Hobs, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, sandwich maker, juice extractor, iron and board, hairdryer, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, baby cot. The guest house has a filter coffee machine and a kettle.
Facilities: Six bedrooms with double beds ( 2 X 1.60), four bathrooms with showers, one bathroom with a bath, one w.c. Indoor dining for 10 people, outdoor dining for 8 - 10 people, 6 sunbeds, one double sunbed, small coffee table with 4 chairs on the front terrace, 2 director chairs and a small coffee table near the guest house.
There is a dirt road of about 350 meters leading to the villa, Smoking not allowed, pets considered, children under supervision round the pool area.

We spent a week in August 2022 at this property and given we have rented in Europe many times this was the best spot so far. Our party included us, our two grown up kids and their girlfriends, and two other adult couples.
The property is exactly as described in the pictures with lots of sprawling space, well designed bedrooms, multiple bathrooms and a fabulous kitchen. The outdoor space is spectacular with plenty of seating areas in the sun and shade. There are two dining areas outside and a lovely outdoor shower. The pool was very clean and in fact was cleaned mid week, there is a short pathway to a little cove leading to the sea where we were able to snorkel and swim in calm waters.. Keep an eye out for jelly fish though!
Access to the villa is a bit tough and I would recommend an SUV but it’s only a ten minute drive into town which has many grocery stores, a tiny fish store and a butcher. We also were able to buy fish straight off the harbor from a fisherman. The harbor also has many lovely restaurants overlooking the water, and one spectacular one at the top of the mountain near the Lion of Kea. There is also a tiny little bakery in town where the baklava and breadsticks are not to be missed. We loved the restaurants with amazing seafood but what we also enjoyed was cooking fresh sea bream and prawns on the grill by the pool in the villa and eating while looking out at the most spectacular sunset I have ever seen.
What made our stay extra special and perfect was our hostess Maria. All the way from receiving us at the ferry to all aspects of our stay, Maria was the most impeccable hostess. She did so many things to make our stay delightful, and I will try to list most of them. Maria was waiting for us at the ferry port when we got to kea, had worked with the car rental agency and her son personally accompanied us to the villa. (There are no addresses or road signs on the island). Every restaurant meal we had, maria helped make reservations, gave solid recommendations. She appears to know everyone on the island and uses her connections to make the stay pleasant for her guests. She was incredibly responsive, to us and to our son who got several recommendations and restaurant reservations throughout our stay.
She was always available and saw us off at the end of our stay at the ferry port and arranged transportation back to Athens for all of our different travelers.
Highly recommend this property and Maria Lemos. We will go back !,
