Hikka Lagoon

Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft direkt an der Lagune, man kann dort morgens eine Kanutour genießen und anschließend das Frühstück, mit grandioser Aussicht, auf der Terrasse einnehmen. Schlafzimmer, Küche und Bad sind groß und geräumig, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Zum Abendessen gab es Reis und Fisch direkt vom Gastgeber, danke dafür. Der freundliche Vermieter hat uns am Folgetag zur Schildkrötenstation begleitet, viele Tipps gegeben und einen tollen Badestrand empfohlen, wo wir trotz großer Wellen, aufgrund eines natürlichen Pools, sicher schwimmen konnten.

Ein Hinweisschild am Weg hätte uns die Anreise erleichtert, wir wollten bereits wieder umdrehen, als der Vermieter das Tor öffnete :-)

Прекрасное место, великолепный вид, природа. К океану неспешным шагом 10 минут по тенистым улицам, наслаждаясь пением птиц и ароматами растений. Завтраки разнообразные, достаточные.

Не то, что бы не понравилось, но в пасмурные дни не хватало горячей воды (была довольно освежающая). Как мы поняли, подогрев от солнца.

Просторное жилье на берегу лагуны с потрясающим видом! Мы брали лодку для прогулки по лагуне, видели варанов, змей, птиц, летучих мышей. Номер красивый, чистый, светлый. Мы пожалели, что остановились здесь только на одну ночь.

Хозяин был очень общительным, нам бы хотелось чуть больше приватности.

The best accommodation choice we had made in our Sri Lanka journey.Perfect location,great facilities,cleanliness,short walk to the main road,quiet,direct exit to a big lagoon full of life,friendly neighborhood.We had an amazing early morning kayak experience and a full visit to most tourist objectives in the surroudings.All tasty and plentiful meals(breakfast and dinner) prepared in the house Everything was possible thanks to our host,Priyantha and his lovely family.We will always keep in our memories and souls the great time we had together,his kind and familiar approach towards us,helping us to make easy and comprehensive decisions.We noticed the respect shown to him by the locals,as a former mayor of Hikkaduwa.All the best wishes and many thanks for a wonderful time!
