2 bedroom beautiful apartment in Krvavica

Spotlessly clean and spacious. Very hard to communicate with the owner who lived in the building as he only spoke Croatian and Dutch (even though English was the third language mentioned in the VRBO listing). We struggled with Google translate but finally managed to understand each other. He let us check into the apartment early (which was very helpful). There was no grill (mentioned in the VRBO listing), no kettle and no coffee maker (of which there was a picture of in the listing). We managed though, and boiled water in a pan on one of the two electric hob rings. Luckily we took some washing-up liquid, tea towel and a dish cloth as there was nothing like that in the kitchen area, and no shops nearby - it did seem that we may have been the first people to stay in this apartment as the furnishings all smelled very new. There was a list of rules on the kitchen table about do's and dont's but no information about the area e.g. bus-stops (of which there were none close by - we found out after walking along the road nearby), local restaurants, bars etc. No wardrobes, only cupboards, no hooks on back of doors to hang anything, only one mirror in the bathroom above the sink - AND it is listed as air conditioned but there was only one unit inn one of the bedrooms - not good as the temperature when we went was 38/39 degrees and even touched 41 degrees on one day. None of these small drawbacks, however, did not spoil our holiday, they are just really recommendations for the owner.
