About this house rental
This beautiful holiday home with lots of comfort (including internet via fibre optics) is surrounded on two sides by a large wooden terrace. The beach at Gudmindrup is the most beautiful bathing beach in the bay of Sejerø with fine sand and large dunes. There is an international golf course and a pay-and-play course a short distance away. The sea and the put-and-take lakes are perfect for anglers. You can also take a trip on foot or by bike and experience the beautiful, undisturbed nature. The Ice Age landscape in Odsherred is unique and crucial to the Odsherred of today. That is why Odsherred is a geopark. Take a trip along the burial mound road and experience the Ice Age landscape, the Stone Age barrows and Bronze Age burial mounds, the souls in Ulkerup, Hempel Glass Museum, Odsherred Museum, which has a copy of the sun chariot found in the Trundholm Mose swamp, the pocket stone the work of a troll or a geological wonder?
Næsholm Borg Castle, which stands on a small island in Lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. The nature school with its many activities from hunting for sea delicacies, expeditions in the forest, butterfly safari to troll and fox excursions. Hovvig Nature Reserve, a man-made wetland with a rich bird life. Children will love seeing the many fire engines at the Odsherred Fire Museum, or you can go on a seal safari from the harbour in Rørvig. Nykøbing Sjælland is a great place for shopping, with a nice pedestrianised shopping area, supermarkets and cafés. You can also visit Rørvig harbour, where you will find a cosy atmosphere, a fish smokehouse, a restaurant and a ferry connection to North Zealand. Enjoy smoked fish here while your children catch crabs on the pier.
