Le Caserie Locanda di Charme

The hotel was very nice with the touch of Italian charm. It was a small facility, so it was private and very quiet. It was just a few steps from the major boulevard with plenty of restaurants and shopping. The beach was also very close.

The only draw back is that parking is very limited. If you are traveling by car, you have to park at a public parking area and there are only a few slots available. Also the elevator was hit or miss which made it difficult for my wife who has mobility issues.

It absolutely has the charm of centuries past with the comfort of excellent furnishing and exciting cuisine.

Clean and very central location

Breakfast was a major disappointment. The bread was not fresh and had a soggy texture, which immediately set a negative tone for the meal. To make matters worse, pizza from the previous day was served, a choice that felt careless and unappetizing. I would never consider serving such items to guests, and it certainly does not reflect well on the establishment. The coffee was another letdown, extremely bitter and far from enjoyable. Altogether, the breakfast experience felt neglected and poorly executed. For a place that relies on guest satisfaction, I strongly believe the owner should invest more effort and resources into improving the breakfast offering. What makes this more concerning is that I am not alone in this opinion—I have spoken with other guests who shared similar feedback. A good breakfast can set the tone for a guest’s entire day, and unfortunately, this one left a very poor impression.
