Quiet and comfortable

Great location, in a quiet forest near a town with amenities. Legoland around the corner. Clean and comfortable space with friendly owners.

If you have people that need to use the bathroom often the creaky stairs could wake people up. The owner did mention they want to fix this, so could have been fixed when you're reading this.

Our stay was very successful, the children enjoyed themselves, and the location is excellent

.we liked the trampoline, the yard: it is very big and beautiful all the facilitys are excellent

The shower curtain is not so comfortable, it keeps sticking to the body. The lighting is weak in most of the house

The apartment is in very qalm place, next to the forest. Outside there is playground for children, barbeque and fireplace. It was warm and cosy inside. You can find all needed things there. It was very clean.

WONDERFUL HOUSE IN THE WOODS.

This little house was a true delight at the edge of a woodland. The views from the windows were gorgeous. We were all enthralled with our stay and would not hesitate to return one day. We found the house, perfectly situated for a trip to Legoland and the surrounding areas. A good Satnav is necessary for the winding country roads, we did get lost a few times, but managed some lovely day trips to Ribe, Esbjerg and Hvide Sande. Ribe was particularly worth seeing and we all enjoyed our day at Legoland. The bedrooms were comfy, and the whole apartment was well equipped. We only made breakfasts and light suppers, as we ate out during the day. Well equipped for small children, with swings and trampoline. Great for a family holiday. The owners live across the way and they were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful; well-equipped; ideal for Legoland but stay longer and enjoy it!

We booked this as it was close to Legoland, but actually we would love to have stayed longer. It is beautifully set up with lovely indoor and outdoor space, and everything you could possibly need (washing machine, outdoor furniture, trampoline, barbecue, fire pit, WiFi, deep freeze etc etc). You need to be coming by car as it is out of town in the woods, but the town of Grindsted and supermarket are only 5 minutes drive, and Legoland and Billund airport are 20 minutes or less. The key had been left for us to go in, and our host came and said hello when he got home, then left us to enjoy the space. It would suit a young family with its great garden (with swings, goal, trampoline, sand pit). It didn’t bother us, but the stairs are quite steep and narrow, so I wouldn’t have wanted to be carrying a baby up them, or letting a toddler use them, but the main double bedroom is downstairs anyway, and our children were fine with the stairs. We loved this place and would highly recommend it.

Tranquil and idyllic place

This is a fantastic idyllic place to stay, surrounded by woodlands and animals nearby, it is a peaceful, tranquil and clean place to be. The owner is very loving and caring people! I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Perfect for families with smaller kids too.

Almost everything. The apartment was clean, big enough, had a lot of rooms and beds. At good weather the ambience is very nice with the big windows. There is a garden all around with football pitch, trampoline. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The location is very quiet and calm, there are paths to walk, cute animals, horses, dogs, cats... Hosts are very friendly. Billund is not far with the Lego House, but a lot of places to visit in Jutland are also within a one-hour drive reach.

The rooms are a bit dark. There are no lamps on the ceiling on the ground floor except for above the dining table. Given we were there in February, we could have used a bit more light. The lamps that are there have a bit low luminosity. The lamp in the storage room never really worked (not that important after all).

Reserve without a doubt, perfect place for Legoland, Lalandiia, Arhus and more

Beautiful danish country style apartment, perfect for families with up to 4/5 kids, private parking near the entrance door. The house is surrounding by trees, a playground, horses and totally quiet (no neighbours!). The hosts were nice, we didn't need to cotact during our stay, anything was provided upfront. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Living room and kitchen are large, TV with cable (sports, movies and kids channels). Wifi is fine, washing machine and dishwasher were very useful. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!!!

Een fijne, rustige accommodatie in de bossen dichtbij de reuring van Legoland.

De locatie is prachtig zo midden in het bos. En zo'n 20 minuten rijden van Legoland en het WoW park, wat perfect was aangezien dat het doel was van deze bestemming. Na een dag in de mensenmenigte was deze accommodatie een fijne, rustige plek om naartoe terug te keren.

Idyllisch Apartment im Wald

Es war sehr gemütlich. Außen gab es viel Platz und Spielmöglichkeiten für unsere Kinder und man kann die ruhige Umgebung genießen. Man fühlt sich wie mitten im Wald.

Wenn man etwas anbringen möchte, dann das ein Badezimmer mehr schön gewesen wäre, aber wir (6 Personen) haben dies auch so hin bekommen:-)
