Camden Serviced Apartments by Globe Apartments

Very nice studio flat. Clean, well equipped and in an excellent location. Comfy bed. Much appreciated the tea, coffee,biscuits and the bottled water. And the complimentary shower products.

It was very hot although a fan was provided which helped to keep the studio cool. Not the fault of the owners as London is not used to these prolonged heatwaves!

Had everything for our stay , great bed so comfy and provided fans which in the heat was really good

The property is rated 3 stars and for a 3 star rating the furniture in the apartment were good. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment is spacious and it is in a great location. Parkway is a lovely high street and only a 5 minute walk from Camden Town Underground station. There is a lift up to the apartments. The apartment was bright despite looking out onto a wall about 10 to 15 foot away. A welcome bag of goodies was also provided which was a nice touch. The Globe staff were very helpful and responsive to a noise issue (see below) and were quick to help me and sort something out. I appreciated their attitude and efforts to provide a solution.

I was in apartment 2. It is at the back of the building and looks out onto a wall. Although the apartment is bright I would not recommend this apartment as it ends up felling claustrophobic as you are looking out onto a wall. You can't tell that from the photos of the apartment. The other apartments which overlook the street should be OK. Although the overall fit out of the apartment was good, the kitchen cabinets are wood laminate which is twisted and misshapen which gives the kitchen area a very run down appearance. It is well kitted out and does have a washing machine and all the essentials. The bathroom is a bit dated with a shower in the bath tub which is hard to climb in (so not good if you have limited mobility). The main issue was the drilling and noise. There is a major renovation ongoing next door. I was working and holding calls and there was no way I could operate from the flat. I understand this is not the fault of the company renting the flat and renovations are allowed during day time hours - but it is very loud and you can't work or sleep or stay in the flat during the day time. The Globe group was responsive and helpful and organized access to a co-working share space in Camden for the 2 days I had to work and reimbursed me for the cost of this. However, I would check if the renovations are complete before booking this location.
