Sweet Home Art Boutique

This hostel truly is beautiful. (That is not a sentence I get to write often!) The decor has been picked with such obvious care. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the two kitchen spaces are very well outfitted (oil, tea, salt and sugar are available), towels are provided, and the bathrooms have good water pressure. There is a large mall and grocery store walking distance away across the bridge. I didn’t get the chance to really talk with the hosts, but I they were present at the property so it would be easy to ask any questions.

- It’s a little out from the centre so check your bus routes (you can easily pay for buses in Shymkent with cash!) - Maybe it was due to the time of year I was there (October), but this was not a very social hostel so as a solo traveler I didn’t connect with anyone else

Everything! The owner is amazing and nice and helpful! Everything you see in the photos is true and this is exactly how it looks- there are plenty of space and sitting areas outside a very good and facilitated kitchen. Everything is well tasted and decorated amazingly which makes you feel like you’re at your own house and you wish that your house would look exactly like this. We felt at home from the first minute we arrived. Everything was clean, good comfortable. The place is well cleaned, and the kitchen is being cleaned every morning and it feels amazing. The place is also very quiet.

Located at peaceful location, very very clear & well designed property, welcoming host, kitchen access. Overall my stay was comfortable.

There was free tea and coffee & lovely clean kitchen to cook your own meals.
