A Truly Unforgettable Stay in a Charming Chateau

Our stay at this beautifully restored 3-bedroom apartment was nothing short of wonderful. Set within a stunningly renovated chateau, the accommodation perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. Each room is thoughtfully designed and impeccably furnished — you can truly feel the care and attention to detail that the owners have poured into every corner. The stylish decor, comfortable beds, and plush bedding made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The spacious rooms offered plenty of room to relax and unwind, and waking up to a fresh delivery of croissants and bread at our door in the morning was an absolute delight. Breakfast felt like a special treat! Our host was wonderfully kind and accommodating, always ready to help and clearly passionate about making her guests feel welcome. We wholeheartedly recommend this unique accommodation to anyone visiting Lyon — it’s a rare gem. We’re already dreaming of our next visit and can’t wait to return to this exceptional chateau!

The decor and facilities were exceptional. The presentation was 5 stars. We had a good range of freshly baked goods delivered at 7am for our breakfast. The kitchen was well stocked with extra goods to make our stay comfortable. Our host was warm and friendly and we would highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

Bon séjour dépaysant

Ce fut un bon séjour dans ce grand appartement. Effectivement il y a de l’espace : plusieurs chambres, un grand salon et une belle cuisine. Madame Croizier est très disponible, gentille et arrangeante. Très bon petit déjeuner personnalisé, apporté chaque matin.

Il faisait très froid, les chauffages ne suffisaient pas. Nous avons pourtant rajouté les 2 chauffages électriques mis à disposition mais c’était limite, surtout dans la salle de bain et les WC. Les serviettes n’arrivaient pas à sécher et nous avons dû en redemander chaque jour. Dommage qu’il n’y avait qu’un plaid tout fin en rab. Il faudrait peut-être en rajouter 2 ou 3. Le bruit de la route nous a dérangé au petit matin. Même si très calme la nuit. Bouilloire très entartrée. Il n’y avait pas de vinaigre pour la nettoyer.

Un remanso de tranquilidad y buen gusto

El apartamento es precioso, muy amplio y limpio, lleno de luz y decorado con mucho gusto. Está en un chateau precioso y ajardinado, con un cerramiento en el que se pueden aparcar los coches sin molestar. Ubicado en Ecully, dispone de transporte publico muy cerca para acceder cómodamente a Lyon, y además hay comercios y restaurantes cerca. La anfitriona es muy amable, estuvo pendiente de todo.

Nos gustó todo, pero quizá por comentar aspectos que conviene conocer, indicar que solo tiene un baño, que dependiendo del numero de inquilinos puede resultar un poco justo. No tiene ascensor, que podría ser una dificultad para personas con movilidad reducida. El menaje es también un poco justo si el grupo es numeroso.

Petit séjour très agréable

Très bon accueil de Madame Croizier avec le sourire, elle nous a mis un garage à disposition pour nos vélos. Nous avons pu avoir l'appartement à 12h. L'appartement est grand et très clair. Très bonne viennoiseries et baguettes au petit-déjeuner.

Peut-être du salé au petit déjeuner... Peut-être dommage aussi que ce soit un bain et non une douche, mais ça c'est peut-être personnel

Les photos de l'appartement correspondent exactement à la réalité : Joli et spacieux appartement (dans une bâtisse du XVIII siècle), magnifiques volumes, confortable, propre, bien situé et très joliment aménagé. Et au calme dans la propriété. Le petit-déjeuner compris avec tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine et les viennoiseries déposées le matin par l'hôte.

Il manque peut-être une salle de bain dans le grand appartement de 3 chambres. Une seule salle de bain pour 6 adultes, c'est un peu juste.

Malgré ces "petites choses", le séjour a été très bon et l'acccueil excellent

qelques détails d'entretien: poignées de portes qui s'en vont (un simple clou les fixerait, lumière principale d'une chambre ne fonctionnant pas, et de conception: W.C sans aération extérieure (par exemple par ouverture de la petite fenêtre, aménagement d'une douche dans la salle de bain. L'enjambement d'une baignoire-douche, pouvant être scabreux par les plus de 90 ans et l'emplissage d'une baignoire n'étant plus en harmonie avec les normes d'économie d'eau et pseudo-écolo
