Aparthotel Mádr

The room was nice, spacious and clean with proper kitchen amenities. There was no problem with parking and the hosts accommodated our late arrival (appreciated!). I liked that they have a pet-friendly policy. The hotel is situated in a great place, central to the part of Sumava we wanted to explore.

The walls in the room were rather thin - we could hear other guests. The wi-fi was very bad. The bed's frame was built in a way that you could easily hit yourself every time you wanted to sit down. And the cherry on the pie was the lady who was attending the breakfast - when I asked her at 9:05 (breakfast served till 10!) if they could make more scrambled eggs, she went to check and came back saying that the cooking lady refused. When I pointed out that the breakfast should still run for an hour, she said, "Then go discuss this with the cooking lady" and pointed to the kitchen door...

Škoda,že není v provozu restaurace

Slečna, která tam snad byla sama na celý hotel a starala se o vše. Tu bych ocenila, protože to rozhodně není jednoduché a vlastně ani reálné zabezpečit v takovém počtu lidí služby pro klienty. Snídaně průměrná.

Cena naprosto neadekvátní, byl zde špatný signál. Restaurace zavřená, což jsem se dozvěděla až po rezervaci. Hotel má projít na podzim rekonstrukcí, myslím, že nejdůležitější bude, jak k tomu budou přistupovat po stránce personálu.

Schöne Lage an einem Bach. Fußläufig vom Ort entfernt. Appartement geräumig und sauber. Personal freundlich. Gegend und Anfahrt sehr schön. Preis günstig. Touristbüro und Fahrradverleih in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ebenso kleiner Kolonialwarenladen und Restaurant.

Frühstück spartanisch. Brötchen 30 Minuten nach Beginn vergriffen, es wurden keine nachgelegt, also gab es nur Graubrot, später wurde noch eine halbe Packung Toast dazugestellt. Das Restaurant hat wohl im Februar zugemacht, man bekommt abends auch nichts mehr zu trinken, obwohl der Kühlschrank an der Bar sichtbar voller Getränke war. Immerhin ist es nicht weit zu den nächsten Trink-Möglichkeiten außerhalb. Wir waren 2 Nächte in einem Appartement. Zimmer wurden währenddessen nicht vom Personal betreten. Lege ich auch keinen Wert drauf, hätte es nur gerne gewusst.
