A wonderful boutique hotel

It is a hotel that feels like a villa, situated in the countryside. The setting is so idyllic and peaceful and the hotel lovely and so easy. You can walk to some cafes and restaurants in just over 10 mins and 15-20 in to the centre of the little town. Breakfast is a wonderful spread of breads, delicious pasties, cheese/meats, different fruits and yoghurt and eggs if you want, with a slightly different selection brought to your table each day. Twice a week they do a dinner you can opt in for. I would thoroughly recommend it. Michelle the chef is wonderful and it's a lovely sociable evening with food and drink being served on one large table for all the guests together. Other evenings you can get takeaway or go out, explore local restaurants or even cook a little something for yourself as there is an outdoor kitchen with some simple utensils guests are able to use and a little fridge space. The kids loved having the large garden space, complete with a football and trampoline. Lovely pool. My 9 year old daughter's highlight was the honesty bar - she loved playing barmaid, serving us all drinks, writing it in the book and keeping the bar sparking clean! We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect.

Calming and reconforting

The place is remote, quiet and really comfortable to rest for a few days. They allow cooking and keeping water and other things in a fridge, which is also a bonus. The rooms are on the small side, but they are modern, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The breakfast is served everyday and is delicious, easily the best part of our short stay.

The bathroom did feel a bit cramped, but that is a non-issue.

Great experience all round, was a last minute decision to go inland to Jalon from El Portet and we certainly will be returning! just nicely out of the town but easily accessible by foot to the many local bar / restaurants. Beautiful lush valley, excellent views from the villa, tranquil maybe touching serene thankyou Nikki and the team

Their was nothing negative from our perspective, how to improve its difficult to say as to make what you may feel an improvement would potentially change the essence, character of the villa and service its not a Boutique Hotel, its not a private Villa, it's something between which was perfect for Mel and myself

Perfect

The property is absolutely perfect, and exceptionally well appointed. The attention to every detail has been honed over time, to the point that Nikki seems to have though of pretty much everything, and it’s all where it should be. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, from arriving to leaving they were there when you need them, but you were just left to get on and enjoy your stay, so it was all very easy and relaxed. We stayed for the evening meal, and honestly we have paid twice as much for a lot less, the courses were just enough to leave you ready for the next, and the service and food from Michelle was a dream, she is so keen to help. so we definitely recommend this place and the food, even the breakfast was perfect, I can see why people return, and we certainly will.

Perfect rural escape with good beaches nearby in a stunning location

This is an awesome small rural hotel set in a stunning location, just 20-30 mins from the beach, with amazing gardens and a lovely pool. Nicky and her whole team are super friendly, helpful and care about the small details. They do an amazing job making you feel so welcome and comfortable, we really didn't want to leave. We were looking to get away from Madrid for a week but were concerned about the virus and this was the perfect escape - peaceful, safe, super comfortable, relaxing and enabling us to enjoy the beach without having to stay in a big hotel full of people. The pool is also a super nice place to chill and there is an "honesty" bar and a kitchen where you can even prepare your own food, perfect for couples and families with small children. The breakfast is delicious, served outside each morning on private tables within the patio and gardens of the hotel, there is absolutely no concern about social distancing here, there is so much outside space to enjoy. There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive of the hotel and Nicky and the team were super helpful in making recommendations and bookings.

Buscaba pasar un día tranquilo y con encanto y viendo la web y sus instalaciones Cuando llegamos desde el recibimiento con Cristian hasta cualquier rincón fue espectacular el pasar la tarde en el porche hasta la cena con la chimenea, encima nos pudimos llevar nuestra cena y bebida ya que su vajilla, nevera etc nos regaló todo los detalles , el desayuno magnífico que nos prepararon inmejorable, la habitación preciosa y colchón comodisimo, todas las instalaciones super limpias y los detalles de las mantitas para taparte en los sofás te hacen sentir como en casa pero con más servicios. Mil gracias por la experiencia, sin duda volveremos.

El alojamiento espectacular,muy cómodo.Cocina compartida que pudimos utilizar sin problema.Estupendas instalaciones,muy acogedoras.El personal muy amable ,todo fueron facilidades.Llevavabamos bicis eléctricas y ningún problema para guardarlas. Mención especial a Cristian que es con quien más tratamos,amable y profesional. Encantados,espero volver.

Heerlijke villa beleving!

Wat een prachtige villa! Heerlijke kamer. Een fijn afwisselend ontbijt. Sommige avonden kan je hier eten. Dat is ook erg goed bevallen. Heel gezellig aan grote tafels met de andere gasten. De andere avond had het ook een privé diner kunnen zijn. Wat heel fijn is is dat er een keuken is waar je gebruik van kan maken. Ook is er een bar waar je zelf verschillende drankjes kan pakken met een honesty bar systeem. Een villa beleving gehad deze week. Ook een aanrader voor een gezin met kinderen. Er is een zwembad, trampoline, speelhuisje voor de kleintjes, jeu de boules baantje.
