About this apartment rental

Finely renovated apartment located in a village in the beautiful valley of Elva on the Cuneo Alps. The apartment is rented with everything you need for a peaceful holiday, dishes, glasses and all the kitchen set, oven, fridge and freezer. the kitchen is induction and complete with dishwasher. The tablecloths, sheets and duvets are also given for any eventuality.
The house is equipped with solar thermal, immersed in the pine forest and with an exclusive view of the valley below. Reachable by asphalted road, it is located at a height of 1720 m s. L.M. synonymous with freshness in the summer.
Pets are welcome where they can be left free to roam (compatibly with everyone's character!).
The house is suitable for those who want to enjoy a few days of tranquility and peace in unspoiled nature
For the laziest ones, at 800 meters, an agreement with the hotel, a SPA with treatments and a typical restaurant
For the more dynamic, trails for mountaineers bike, walks and climbs to the peaks that dominate the valley which are all over 3000 meters.

The owner who was very pleasant had put some food and drink in our fridge which was lovely. We made some beautiful, and not too difficult walks in the immediate surroundings.

We had a great time in Appartamento Pelvo. The apartment had spectacular views over the valley and we spent most evenings on the balcony watching the sunset light up Monte Chersogno in the far distance except for the evening when everything was unexpectedly shrouded in a thick mist. The apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated in a modern style that suites the building perfectly. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, Dario and his wife were wonderfully thoughtful to provide a few essentials and bottle of wine from the region. The small town of Serre we drove though to get to Appartamento Pelvo has one of the treasures of the Elva province, the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta with it’s beautiful murals by Hans Clemer, there is also a small grocery and cheese shop you pass where we got nearly all our groceries, it has lots of local and organic products, ask for the local cheese. One of the great aspects of the apartment is that is is directly on some of the the best walking trails of the Valle Maria, from the house, you can do an easy four hour loop of the valley. This was our first visit to the Valle Maira and it was one of the most beautiful and fantastic places in Italy we have visited. Dario and his wife were great hosts with a wonderful apartment, we would love to return.

Die Wohnung war vom Valle Maira nur über eine 17 km enge und kurvenreiche Straße erreichbar (ca. 45 min Fahrt). Die kürzere Zufahrtsstraße war gesperrt, ob auf Dauer oder nicht, ist uns nicht bekannt. Wer also (auch) im Valle Maira oder anderen Seitentälern unterwegs sein will, muss sich auf einige Fahrerei einstellen. Die Lage des Hauses ist abgelegen, aber sehr schön; toller Blick auf die Berge vom Balkon. Diesen konnten wir allerdings kaum genießen. Wegen des Lärms auf der Baustelle direkt neben dem Haus, wo gerade ein weiteres Haus errichtet wurde, haben wir uns fast nur in der Wohnung aufgehalten bzw. waren unterwegs. Nachdem wir uns bei Dario über den von morgens (7:00 Uhr) bis abends (ca. 18:30 Uhr) herrschenden Baulärm beschwert hatten, leistete er immerhin eine Rückerstattung in angemessener Höhe. Die Wohnung ist nett eingerichtet und entsprach für sich genommen unseren Erwartungen.

Ho avuto molte esperienze di case di vacanze. Questa di Elva è stata senza dubbio, ma proprio senza dubbio, la migliore. Una casa perfetta, curatissima, pulitissima, in una posizione splendida, e Dario, l'ospite, veramente squisito. In casa non manca praticamente nulla e tutto è scelto con estrema cura e gusto. Complimenti!

Luogo splendido, appartamento pulitissimo, accogliente e confortevole. La località è perfetta per escursioni a piedi e in MtB. Se però si vuole esplorare i dintorni (...valli limitrofe) va tenuto presente che le strade sono molto strette e tortuose e per scendere a valle (...e salire!) ci vuole almeno 1/2h di guida impegnativa!

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in der sehr schönen und gemütlichen Wohnung! Wer weniger Scheu vor engen Gebirgsstraßen hat, wird vermutlich noch mehr Ausflüge machen. Wir genossen die Entschleunigung und die umwerfende Blütenpracht auf all den Wiesen und Almen.

Zu Viert haben wir eine Woche im wunderschönen Maira-Tal genossen. Die traumhafte, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit einem phantastischen Blick auf den 3000 Meter hohen Chersogno hat die schönen Wanderungen rund um Elva zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Abgelegen und trotzdem gut versorgt kann man hier u.a. auf einer ca. 70qm großen Sonnenterrasse wirklich entspannen. Elva bietet mit seinem kleinen Lebensmittelladen alles, um lange Wege ins Tal vermeiden zu können. Und in der Ferienwohnung ist auch an Kleinigkeiten gedacht, einschließlich einer ersten Grundversorgung (Milch, Wasser, Kuchen etc.) bei der Ankunft. Dario ist ein perfekter Gastgeber: freundlich, präsent, aber nicht aufdringlich und gut informiert.
