About this villa rental
Located in a quieter part of Altinkum called Yesilkent, and only 200 m or so from the beach, Villa Hazy is a lovely detached villa with its own pool, set out over two floors, accommodating up to 7 guests in three bedrooms. The ground floor has a light and airy open-plan lounge, modern kitchen and dining area, and a bathroom. The first floor offers three bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is also a roof terrace offering fantastic views of the surrounding area. With the comfort and safety of guests in mind, the villa is fitted with air-conditioning, fly/mosquito screens, sun curtains and blinds. All floors and bathrooms are fully tiled, and outside space is tiled and hard landscaped. All furnishings are thoughtful and tasteful, with home comfort and relaxation in mind. The pool is for the sole and exclusive use of Villa Hazy guests. Villa Hazy is located in a quiet street in the tranquil village of Yesilkent, just 10 minutes from Altinkum.
The Turkish Aegean Coast region
Beautiful warm clear blue sea with many interesting and secluded bays make up the Aegean coast. The temperature is mainly warm and sunny throughout the Spring and Autumn and very hot in the Summer months especially in July and August.
Yesilkent is a quiet peninsular outside of the main town with small local beaches, a few local restaurants and shops to choose from.
Altinkum (10 minutes away) means 'Golden Sands' in Turkish and refers to the large sweeping bay in Altinkum. There are many bars and restaurants to be found along the promenade (pedestrianized during the summer months). Many restaurants provide a free pick up and drop off service to Yesilkent and surrounding areas and there is also a dolmus (local bus) service every 10 15 minutes for Altinkum.
There are plenty of places to visit and explore including the famous Ephesus, Miletus, Priene, Pamukkale (cotton candy castle), Bafa Lake national park, Apollo temple, Roman ruins, boat/gullet trips around the bays or even a trip to Greece as Kos is nearby. The largest water park in Turkey is 1 hour away in Kusadasi; there is also one in Didim which is about 10 / 15 minutes drive or served by a local bus.

We stayed at the Hazy villa in September, the owners have thought of everything possible to ensure your holiday goes as smoothly as possible, great contact and communication with Salma and Hamid (owners) throughout the booking process. Private transfers were arranged to and from the airport for a small fee, which was payable to the driver on collecting from the airport. A welcome pack is provided on your arrival which has plenty of useful ideas and money saving tips for the duration of your stay.The villa is fully Air-conditioned and is spacious, inviting, airy, comfortable Inside, the bedrooms are of a good size, with comfortable beds, extra bedding and well equipped for an enjoyable holiday, The villa is well considered, with a peaceful sized living room area, with a large seating and dining area for eating, drinking, playing games and watching films, it also has Wi-Fi at reasonable speeds and has a TV with a DVD player with a selection of movies available, the TV isn’t connected to an aerial so no terrestrial channels are available thus far.Outside, there is a fully functional BBQ (utensils provided) and a lovely seating area where you can have breakfast/lunch in the sunshine, with access to sunbeds and cushions, overlooking the fantastic private swimming pool which also has lights if you fancy a night time dip/swim. The pool also has a selection of inflatables which I thought was very thoughtful. The nearby (5minute walk) there is a nice “Yayla market selling variety of foods, they also have a restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Turkish food at very reasonable price. MIgros supermarket is also a 5 minute walk from the villa. The area is peaceful and quiet but if you walk to the top of the street you can catch the Dolmus into Altinkum, which is about 10 minute bus ride away and is a large town with beaches, restaurants and shops, there is also a local beach within walking distance by the Vennosa hotel which is less crowded and used mainly by the people of Yesilkent. We really did enjoy the September sun, the beaches, the food and the local peoples during our holiday and will definitely consider returning to yesilkent and the Hazy villa again.
