About this villa rental
A 50,000 m² property with a 500 m² house in the Arrábida National Park, nestled in the mountains, offers magnificent views of the sea, the mountains, and Lisbon.
From the house, you can admire the sea, the beaches, and even Lisbon, which is just 30 minutes away.
This is the ideal place for a peaceful holiday close to the beaches and the city of Lisbon, in a tranquil location with many attractions and places of interest to discover and explore.
Strolling through the park, watching birds fly over the mountains, and admiring the sunset over the sea from one of the house's many terraces are unforgettable experiences!
Although the property is located in the heart of the Arrábida Natural Park, you will find several supermarkets, restaurants, and traditional cafes in the neighboring villages (Azeitao and Cabana), less than 8 minutes away by car.
The region's various beaches (Arrábida, Meco, Bicas, Sesimbra) are located between 15 and 25 minutes from the property.
Lisbon is 30 minutes away, Sesimbra 25 minutes, and the city of Setúbal 15 minutes.
The region is also known for its fine wine, Azeitão cheese, and cakes!
Tours of the region's various wineries, as well as wine tastings, can be arranged.

We returned to the villa so we knew what we were getting. The views are absolutely spectacular and no photo fully does them justice. Ana who manages the house is great and made the check in and departure very easy. Ana also arranged for local ladies to come in and cook Portuguese food, which was amazing. I would higly recommend the property as a place.from which to explore the lovely beaches nearby. The food is well equipped and there's lots of space for coffee, reading, eating, BBQ, table tennis,swimming and drinks. The upper roof terrace is a great place for sunset drinks and the view towards Lisbon is wonderful. There's also easy access.to a local supermarket. Great place for large group.

If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and with stunning views then this property would be hard to beat. Fantastic views from beaches of Costa de Gale to the hills of Sintra on a clear day. Our host Ana Maria was very friendly, accommodating and responsive, letting us check in early when we arrived because she was able to accommodate.
Can only give 3 stars however because as beautiful as the property is, while its generally clean on the surface, it hasn't gotten the level of care or maintenance it needs for a better rating considering the cost. The walls inside are all white and some looked grotty like they hadn’t been painted in years. Some of the furniture wasn't much better. Chair pillows and covers had dirt stains, patio furniture was old, dirty and stained from sitting out in the elements and not getting proper cleaning or maintenance in between stays. The water is from a natural well full so calcium build up in all the bathrooms, something avoided with appropriate level of upkeep. Some of the furniture inside was actually broken or damaged and would look better if it was just removed. Be prepared for insects too. Dishwasher wouldn’t drain. 2 hot tub treatments/cleanings included in expensive price for hot tub but never happened.
Nothing to do in the local village either if you are looking for proximity to something charming or nice bars/restaurants. Also, traffic through Lisbon to sites north or west can be bad.
Overall, place should be 5 star with better care.
