Very close to Putna train station, and 5 mins walk to Putna monastery. Within a hundred meters of the Via Transylvanica trail and great place to stay to overnight to get ready for walking the trail. Staff were extremely helpful and stored our rucksacks for us( as we arrived by train around 09.00 and could not book in until 14.00) so that we could visit monastery without carrying luggage with us. Food was also good value.
Can’t complain about anything. Maybe if walkers need to get away early( breakfast started at o8.00), the hotel could offer some early facility for breakfast( croissants and coffee) which could be set up in dining area and paid for the night before.

the room was big and with nice balcony
The electric charger didn’t work, and the receptionist lady provided me with a standard socket 220. Then in the morning decided to charge me for charging my car, but to pay just cash 😁
a monastery is 1.2 km from the hotel, not 800m as is in the description.
