    Exceptional location with pleasant Lungo Mare. Apartments are roomy enough and really clean, although they show their age. If you are used to stay in apartments and hotels built in the last 20 years, then don't book Lanterna Resort. I stayed in some apartments throughout Mediterranean that turned into horror stories, but these are totally fine.

    Value for money because of its proximity to the beach. There were several eateries and our favourite the Robinson Crusoe cafe with its amazing view, drinks and of course slushy for kids. The rooms weren't the cleanest, but most important the sheets are clean and bed is decent. I wanted extra pillows but can't be bothered to walk to the reception area. Would be great if they provided some towels or rolls for kitchen use and dish washing detergent. We would have a great view if not for the trees, but same trees provided the shade. We requested for a fan and got one. We used it daily and during the night, it can be cold, even if the days were hot. There should be more photos of the apartment online by guests. Prior to coming, we even searched online, but we didnt find much info about the rooms except for their official website. We felt very safe and comfortable knowing the area is used only by guests at Valamar. Bring scooters, bicycles, rollerblades or running shoes because the path is great for all. We will come again for sure!
