reasonable hotel for travellers

funny place to sleep: in a building. next to the church. very simple equipped. breakfast was okay.

Was good value for money, especially as we booked last minute. Staff were pleasant , good parking.

Location great for going to Breskens. Breakfast was good but could maybe have some real sausages to go with eggs.

The room was very hot but air condition was permanently set to 18 by hotel and we could not lower it. Maybe airco needs servicing?. Luckily we bought our own fan or it would be very uncomfortable at night. I suggest removing carpet and replacing with tiles or wooden/laminaat floors as carpet could affect people with allergies, be a fire hazard , gets wet when u come out bathroom and would require more cleaning regularly.

We had rooms across the street in the old convent. Beautifully restored building and comfy rooms.

Not a big problem, but with the long stairs up, it would have been handy to have a lift for the luggage.

Paid for two nights but left after one night

Quiet location in a residential area. Breakfast was excellent with great options. On-site parking. Air conditioning was excellent. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Comfortable bed.

The hotel rooms need significant renovation. The restaurant downstairs is modern, comfortable, stylish and relaxing. The rooms are not up to the same standard as the restaurant. I had a single room. There were two mismatching types of carpet in the room, with dirty stains/marks between the bed and the desk. The ceiling is office polystyrene panels, with a significant water mark/leak on one of the panels near the window. Outside the window, old air conditioning spare parts had been left on the roof. The shower in the bathroom had a partially blocked drain, meaning the water level increases in the shower tray. The toilet paper is transparent-thin and scratchy. The cleanliness and maintenance of the room really made me uncomfortable and I left after one night, even though I paid for two.

The room i was in (no.9) smelt of the kitchen below. Also, don't expect to pay on a UK credit or debit card. Myself and my colleagues had to go to a cash point to pay. Breakfast is very limited and not particularly pleasant

Nice hotel, quiet environment

Our room was located in the former monastry nearby the main building. In general everything was fine. Sluiskil is a small town with no activity at all.

No real outstanding pro’s or con’s. The pictures added are of the monastry, the hotel ‘s website mentions it, but no pictures.

Je kan er goed eten.

Hotel faciliteiten zijn zeer verouderd. Een persoonskamers zij wel heel erg klein: 3x2,5 meter en oud. Behang los aan de muur, dode muggen op de muur, vieze rolgordijnen en vies doekje erachter. Vlekken in vloerbedekking. Al met al sterk verouderd en daardoor ook viezig.

Ligging mooi, midden in het dorp. 1 persoonskamer zonder meer prima! Ontbijt gewoon heel goed. Personeel?: een dikke 10! Ik begrijp sommige reviews niet: gewoon prima hotel, goed eten, gezellige sfeer. En personeel, tja, had ieder hotel maar zulke TOP mensen lopen!

- Zeer vriendelijk personeel met duidelijke uitleg bij inchecken - Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet - Mooie, sjieke en schone hotelkamer - Heerlijke regendouche - De zeep in de hotelkamer was luxe en heerlijk

- Een waterkoker met zakjes thee en oploskoffie zou welkom zijn - Gehorige hotelkamers, tv en gesprekken van ‘buren’ bijna letterlijk te volgen - Muziek in restaurant was erg hard

Hôtel très chic, l’ambiance cosy et la décoration magnifique du restaurant en font un lieu incroyable. Ma chambre est spacieuse, la literie très confortable. La salle de bain, un petit peu vieillotte. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et très garni. Le personnel est très accueillant est très serviable. Le coin bar est très très sympathique .

Een net hotel, met vriendelijk personeel vlakbij België. Handig voor werk, privé of doorreis.

De locatie is goed. In Sluiskil vlakbij de Belgische grens. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het restaurant hebben we gebruikt tussen de middag en 's avonds - Voldoende keus en prima bereid. Het ontbijt is ruimschoots en goed gevarieerd. Alles vers.

De kamer is vrij klein. De douche/wc op de kamer is krap. Wel worden diverse beauty middelen ter beschikking gesteld middels kleine tubes(shampoo -body lotion e.d) De deur op de kamer sluit(technisch gezien) niet netjes af. Er komt aardig wat licht door heen aan beide zijden van de deur. De matrassen zijn vrij smal. In 1 van de matrassen lag je in een kuil.(wij hadden 2 losse bedden tegen elkaar gezet met aparte dekbedjes.)

Prima hotel met uitstekend restaurant

Bruisend hotel/restaurant in het verder erg rustige Sluiskil. Kamers en ontbijt prima, goed onderhouden. Restaurant is gezellig, goed bediend en heeft een uitstekende keuken. Fijn team met personeel! Auto opladen kan aan de overkant.

De kamer in het klooster was echt een kloosterkamer: keurig, rustig, schoon en een beetje out-dated.

Zeer voldaan maar te prijzig.

Zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk personeel/uitbater. Super flexibel op elk vlak. Achtergebleven spullen(ps-console) werden netjes achter de balie opgeborgen op mijn naam. Later aangekomen, al bij middernacht en toch. Heel vriendelijk opgewacht.. Echter is er geen nachtelijk toezicht. Klant is hier koning.

Kamer oudere stijl, niet echt gezellig.. Een beetje groen op het mooi dak/terras. Niet toegankelijk. Zou al wonderen doen. Uitzicht en de middagzon door het grote open raam waren een meevaller maar in de Zomer zal het een zeer warme kaer zijn. Te duur voor wat het is..

Gehorige kamers, zachte matrassen, warm op de kamer terwijl het nog maar begin april is, badkamer stonk naar rook. Een oud hotel waarvan prijs kwaliteit absoluut niet meer kan.
