Casa Marina Apartments

There are enough nice things to say about this apartment. Looked to me like the place just went through a renovation. Very modern on the inside, with everything you need for a short or long stay. Very close to everything, St James, and three of the fortress, shopping and great places to eat. The value I think is second to none. Would Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Sibenik.

Everything was wonderful.

The view from the kitchen and living room was of the sea. We were just a few yards away from the more residential and quieter part of the waterfront and could see the sunset from our window every night. It was perfect. The apartment was very spacious with many windows and was well-appointed. There was also plenty of storage in the kitchen and bedroom, making it ideal for a longer stay. While we were there, the TV was replaced with a brand new 55" LG with all the bells and whistles. That was a welcome and unexpected surprise. The host was beyond helpful and accommodating, both before and during our stay there. You could tell they really wanted your stay to be special. The apartment was well within walking distance of the Old Town... in fact, there were several sets of stairs very nearby that led into a part of the Old Town that few tourists ever see, as it is off the beaten path. I really enjoyed walking up there and seeing an altogether different part of Sibenik. I visited the Medieval Gardens at St. Lawrence Monastery and St. Anne's Cemetery. We had eleven days in Sibenik, which gave us time to relax and explore outside of the Old Town, too, which I highly recommend. There is a whole other Croatia to be discovered outside of the walls of every Old Town in this gorgeous country. We also went to the farmers' market twice and purchased delicious fresh produce. We also took a two-day side trip to Zadar while staying at the apartment in Sibenik, and enjoyed seeing it as well. My husband also went to Plitvice Falls from Sibenik and spent the night in the park. I highly recommend both Sibenik and Casa Marina.

The mounts that hold the shower handles either wouldn't stay in a fixed position or the shower head holder couldn't be tightened to keep a comfortable angle for showering.

Lage, Größe und Ausstattung

Very nice apartment. Beautiful view, modern interior and two bathrooms! 😍 Remote parking was great. Location was quiet and a short walk to the cathedral. Cafes and eateries just steps from the apartment.

The mirrored cabinet in the en suite bathroom needs to be lowered, or better yet, a larger mirror for everyone. The right side of the bed needs a table even if its just a small one. I used the stool that was probably in the bathroom for the mirror.
