So charming. So warm and inviting. Was able to meet the dogs and the chickens. The animals were a major selling point for us picking the place. The breakfast was a bonus!

Karoola Cottage is very well equipped and in a beautiful quiet spot near to Lilydale. Karen and Michael are very friendly and especially thanks to Karen for showing me to use her washing machine (I am a useless man after all! 😂). The property has a great shower and the electric BBQ was great for outdoor cooking.
Nothing not too like, apart from the Possum who raided the BBQ bin!

Breakfast was sufficient and the freshly cooked bread was mouth watering. The cottage was warm, spacious and equipped beyond what was necessary. The lounge area was comfortable and a lovely rural view was to be seen from the window. A most relaxing holiday cottage.
As an older person who uses a walking stick, and has vision issues the two steps down from the kitchen and bedroom areas were a bit of a hazard. Maybe a grab rail could be installed.
