Could have been better, but ok.

Really nice location. Friendly owners. Garden great.

Not particularly clean, especially bathroom. We had a sofa to sit on that was really uncomfortable to sit in so felt that we had to be out and about as we had nowhere comfortable to sit. Loose brick by hob that kept falling off and top step on stairs unsafe as it’s also got loose bricks. Shane that the tiny windows offered no view. If you stay here make sure you get accommodation that has the bigger windows.

Amazing location in Toscana

Well-thought agriturismo in nearby Pistoia. Room is well equipped and everything works well. There's a (shallow) pool, EV charger, nice outside spaces and views. You have your own kitchen, which allows you to experiment with local food. Otherwise you can purchase a breakfast (careful, it's very tasty and fulfilling!). There was a clear communication in advance about how to get to the place (do not ignore the advice) and other small details, we got advice where better to park in Pistoia (which worked as expected) First night we arrived there was a (paid) dinner organized by hosts, which was great and fun! (as I understood, you need to request it, otherwise it won't happen)

There are 3 wifi networks and most of them worked fine (several or one at the time), but it was not uncommon to lose the connection and have some minor network drops. Not a deal breaker, but not 100% stable. The road to the location involves a bit of slope driving and short gravel road. I did not had any problem with it using the cheapest Lancia Ypsilon 1.0 motor car, but one might need to learn to use lower gears on the car (should also be fine for automatic, but just make a small research about it).

Green peace in Tuscanny

Our appartement was cool, quiet, comfortable and sufficiently equipped. Beds were good & firm. We did not use the breakfast option but other guests did and it looked very good. The surrounding garden and countryside are very peaceful and beautiful and it is a very agreeable place. Pool is pleasant and secluded. The grounds are a bit overgrown and left to wild but we liked it. Owners are friendly and easygoing. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and bucolic tuscan experience, "far from the madding crowd". We read many reviews complaining about the drive to the house, which we cannot understand. It is a beautiful forest lane and perfectly ok. But if you care more about your car than about nature and if you want manicured lawns and sterile gardens go somewhere else and leave this place to us. We will definitely come back.

WiFi worked but through an opened / non-secured network (owner are fixing this). There is a bed usage rule based on number of occupants which we were not aware of. It was ok for us in the end but we recommend clarifying this before booking.

Wonderful stay for a couple in Agriturismo

The area was amazing. The owners were super friendly and helpful. They prepared the best breakfast for us and the layout of the place was very nice.

There was a door connecting the kitchen and the bedroom which had low clearance and did not have any caution sign or indication - one can easily hurt.

Scenic and cosy

Beautiful location in the middle of nature. There is a beautiful garden, nice pool and the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. The owners are friendly and organized a shared dinner when we where there. Also the ambiance is very romantic.

What we disliked was the road leading to the location. It is very small and narrow, with lots of overhanging bramble bushes that made a lot of nasty little scratches to our car. This is not well maintained by whomever owns the road. We ended up removing most of these overhanging twigs ourselves.

Relax, fun and great time.

Simply everything, a historical (very much) house totally renovated and perfectly suited for peaceful retreat in the nature. Swimming pool area, garden and surrounding are all wonderful. Hosts very kind and helpful.

Exceptional

The place was like in a dream, from the accomodation, to the beautiful jasmine scents all day. We also enjoyed in patio, lawn and garden and the beautiful view on an old town of serravalle pistoiese. The hosts gave us all the necessary informations, and ware available for all our questions.We really don't have any complaints, and only beautiful memories.

Better than a film

When we were thinking about going to Tuscany, this is exactly what we had pictured in our minds. It seems that is has been taken from a film. It is not a luxury hotel, as the place is in the country so it is rustic, some insects are around and the way up to this house almost on the top of the hill is not quite a road but a narrow sometimes unpavimented path. But it is way better than luxury. It is almost magical. Lovely house, very clean and full of decorativo details of good taste, with incredible views. And the best, the family that runs the place. It is a very good idea to have the optional breakfast there at least one day so you can sit and enjoy the amazing spot under the wisteria arbor and have a chat with them, very open minded, sweet people, that can provide a fair amount of really useful tips to travel around Tuscany. Thank you Stella, Giuliano and Fabrizio for such an unforgettable experience.

A peaceful and rustic place to stay which is a great base for visiting nearby cities.

A peaceful place to stay and unwind or to use as a base to visit Lucca, Pisa, Siena and Florence. Montecatti is also very near and has a great funicular and Thermal Spa area. The road to the Agriturismo is a gravel track in places, but continue along past the horses and it becomes easier again. The rooms are full of character and have lovely views. The main bedroom was spacious and we had cooking facilities. The smaller bed was a bit less comfortable, but would probably have been fine for a child. We were able to enjoy using the swimming pool and relax next to it on sun loungers next to a variety of herbs and other plants.. A good, locally sourced breakfast is available and is served outside on a long table with other guests. It's good to be able to talk together and exchange recommendations. Once a week dinner was available which we enjoyed together too. There is a pizza restaurant in the small village which is worth recommending (Serravalle is Le Carceri del Podestà), and our host can make a reservation for you if you arrive too late to want to travel far for dinner and provided us with vegetarian options, while others had some different dishes. The family speak good English as well as a range of other languages. They were kind, friendly and helpful and could provide travel advice if needed.

The place looks better than on the pictures. The history of the place and the host familly is just another advantage. The house is Just perfect to chill out, drink wine, read a book, play in the pool and to eat something italian, something dellicious. The stone walls are thick and there is not warm inside. I RECOMMEND!

The place is calm and atmospheric. Guest may enjoy simple but romantic interior of the house. Beautiful panorama is the essence of Tuscany landscape. The annual photocontest for the guests is an interesting idea of the hosts.

More efficient shower enclosure could increase comfort of the bathroom use. Electric box needs to be repaired or replaced.

Auf einem schönen abgeschiedenen Fleckchen ganz wie zuhause fühlen :)

Es ist ein ganz toller Ort zum Abschalten und Runterkommen! Die Gastgeber haben aus dem alten Farmhaus eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre geschaffen, vor allem die Einrichtung im Schlafzimmer mit dem wunderbaren Himmelbett, der nach Minze duftende Garten und der Poolbereich mit den kräftig blühenden Pflanzen haben uns sehr gefallen. Wir konnten ganze Tage ungestört am Pool verbringen, ganz wunderbar zum Entspannen. Man fühlt sich schnell wie zuhause. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim gemeinsamen super leckeren Abendessen erklärte die Gastgeberin: Wir streben keine Perfektion an, hier findet man keine gerade Linie - genauso wie kein Mensch perfekt ist. Was für eine schöne Philosophie! :-)

Leider haben wir einige überraschend kühle Tage erwischt und dafür ist der Wohnbereich nicht so gut ausgestattet. Eine Eckcouch oder gemütlichere Stühle würde einen Aufenthalt im Apartment bei Regen angenehmer machen. Es ist aber total verständlich dass man im südlichen Europa nicht den Fokus darauf legt. Als Gast sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass man ohne Auto an keinerlei Lebensmittel oder Restaurants etc. kommt. Das ist der Charme der abgelegenen Lage, führt aber auch dazu dass man sich doch recht oft ins Auto setzen muss. Die ganz klassische Toskanalandschaft fängt übrigens erst ca. 20km weiter südlich an, die Umgebung von I Pitti ist deutlich bergiger und bewachsener als wir gedacht hätten - auch schön, aber eben nichts so ganz klassischen toskanisch.

Ideale uitvalsbasis in Toscane

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Agriturismo I Pitt! De omgeving, evenals het uitzicht vanaf de B&B, is adembenemend: groene heuvels en charmante dorpjes. Het is een perfecte plek om tot rust te komen, weg van de drukte, maar toch dicht genoeg bij Florence, Lucca, Pisa en Pistoia zelf voor mooie dagtrips. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Fabrizio en zijn ouders. De gastvrijheid was fantastisch – hartelijk, persoonlijk en met veel tips beschreven in hun eigen blog. ’s Ochtends genieten van een ontbijt met uitzicht over de heuvels was voor ons een klein geluksmoment. Wij verbleven in de ruime chalet, welke voorzien was van een keukentje (waterkoker, tostiijzer, pannen aanwezig) en eettafel, eigen badkamer (föhn en handdoeken aanwezig) en een kledingrek. De weg erna toe was een beleving, maar prima te doen. Er is voldoende en ruime parkeergelegenheid, incl. laadpaal. Kortom: een ideale uitvalsbasis om Toscane te ontdekken, maar ook om gewoon te ontspannen en het echte Italiaanse leven te proeven.

De kussens waren erg dun (vergeleken met wat wij gewend zijn). Hoewel de locatie mega centraal ligt, zul je toch altijd met de auto op pad moeten om ergens te komen of een boodschap te doen, maar dat weet je als je hier boekt. Het is een groot stuk land dat dit gezin bezit, dus het gras stond vrij hoog. Deze werd de enerlaatste dag toevallig gesnoeid en het zag direct beter uit.

Kamers waren ruim en het ontbijt was prima verzorgd en de eigenaars zijn zeer gastvrije

Het douche gordijn en een koffie zet apparaat. Het zou verder handig zijn als er horren voor de ramen zijn.

Troppi rumori provenienti dagli altri vacanzieri: si sentivano passi e chiacchiere, perché il piano, in legno e mattoni in stile antico, non isola bene. Struttura un po trascurata Manca il.box doccia, c'è una tenda per chiudere ma poco produttivo Interruzione continue di elettricità...che ci hanno creati disagi in cucina e in bagno.. La piscina e carina, ma è adatta ai bambini siccome e alta 1 metro e largha 4mt al incirca Attorno la struttura non c'è un granché..praticamente nulla E il 2 agriturismo che visito in Toscana e devo dire che questo mi ha deluso un po... 950€ per 7 giorni( 2 persone) vabene che era stagione alta ma non li vale manco la metà.. ma vabbeh ognuno ha la sua opinione

Das Haus ist wundervoll restauriert und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist herrlich angelegt und bietet zahlreiche Plätze um sich auszuruhen. Der Pool ist herrlich in die Landschaft integriert und der Liegebereich wunderschön terrassenförmig angelegt. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wunderbar war das gemeinsame Essen der Gäste mit frisch zubereiteten Speisen durch die Gastgeberfamilie
