Le B Cottage & SPA Privé

The house and the garden were lovely - everything was perfect. It felt as being in a paradise. A perfect place to wind down and to relax. It was very interesting to see how Jean-Luc is growing the vegetables for his restaurant. Jean-Luc is a very nice host (and of course a great chef) !! We also enjoyed the walks through the woods and the vineyards which are very near to the accommodation. Thank you very much for our nice stay!

Property was beautiful, clean and a great rural location with only a short walk to town. The fruit basket and bottle of cremant upon arrival was a nice touch. Couldn't ask for a better country setting complete with a neighbor's rooster to bring in the new day.

Additional fees could be more transparent when booking. The cottage is advertised as a 2 bedroom cottage. In my opinion, and probably many others, I wouldn't expect an additional 50 euro daily fee for the use of the 2nd bedroom especially given its size. A quick dust and washing of bed linens hardly warrants that kind of charge even if the fine print at the bottom of the property description does include it. The fee should be more prominent in the description as it is a bit unusual. If you rent a cottage you rent the whole cottage, not just a one bedroom (loft) when a 2 bedroom cottage is advertised. There is also a cleaning fee for the kitchen separate from the cleaning fee of the cottage. While the cottage fee is fully disclosed, the kitchen fee seemed less so without reading more fine print. I could understand if dishes were broken or food is splattered everywhere, from my understanding (maybe incorrectly) it appeared that not thoroughly washing dishes or using the stove or oven would invoke a kitchen cleaning fee as well.

Accomodation and setting were unbeatable and host helpful and informative.
