The hotel was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful and the spa was just amazing!

Good stay but expensive

Close to NEC (less than 5 min walk), good parking, nice rooms and plenty of food options. Would recommend if you have the budget. We went for The Spring Fair and paid £560 for two rooms

The reception queue was too long, there should have been more than one member of staff. The hotel is overpriced in comparison to others nearby and the casino had no atmosphere

Brilliant location offering a good nights sleep.

Welcoming, the room was a good size with very good drinks facililities. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was a wide ranging tasty choice.

The shower water went outside the bath area and in the morning fluctuated between hot and cold. The safe was loose as it looked like it had tried to be fixed with too short a screw.

The hotel was great, great customer service, booked for therapy at Santa’s Spa, float therapy was great :)

Santa’s Spa - I was watched on camera that I had my mobile out, that’s correct, yes I should’ve read notice that no mobile is allowed, but my husband and I been waiting there to use the rooftop hot-tub, so I got bored and took my mobile out, people already in the hot tub were in for ages over 20mins and we are still waiting. It would’ve been nice to check their timing and not just the fact I took my mobile out to show my husband something, I am well aware if I was taking pic no public people would be in my photo, I know how to protect confidentially and know the importance of safeguarding etc also the experience didn’t cater for people with heath or physical health issues unfortunately.

It was not value for money Beds were tiny and uncomfortable Rooms felt stuffy with option to open window for fresh air. Everything looks a bit worn. Buffet breakfast was underwhelming and very poorly laid out. With people sitting at tables so close to the food it was hard to access. Staff unprofessional with unwelcoming appearance and one chewing gum

Location , price point, staff were friendly , the spa was beautiful felt very relaxing I like that everything around the hotel was there cinema , shops and resturants , sky bar was lovely too

My concern all be it small but should be helpful in future please invest in better bathroom acessories , a longer shower screen that covers more of the area where you stand to shower.

I liked the fact that all the Restaurants was in the area and you can shop, most of all the spa did it for me., all staff was very helpful and the cleaning staff was very attentive, helpful and lovely.

What a lovely stay again at the Genting. Perfect location for my stay, wilst working away. And the outdoor Hot Tub is well worth a visit.

I couldn't take a drink back to my room. I had to order room service if I wanted a drink. This came with an additional tray charge.

Extremely well located for the NEC

It’s in a great location for events at the NEC or those wanting to browse the shops and use the bars, restaurants, cinema, bowling or casino at the World Resorts complex. Easy parking at a competitive rate of £15 for 24hours. Good sized rooms and a reasonable breakfast. All very convenient and made for a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Breakfast was better if you had the time to order a la carte rather than the buffet selection but it was all very convenient and staff were helpful.

Great food in the restaurant. The Spa was the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Very comfortable and spacious room. great location with easy access to the NEC and the train.

There was a leak from the shower which pooled on the floor around the toilet.

Room was excellent, really comfortable and spacious and coffee machine a real bonus! Breakfast was also excellent with so much choice, thank you.

Spa was noisy and not regulated with people using their phones inside the Spa area and even in the Sauna against terms and condition of use, which really took away from the relaxation I wanted - very disappointing. Please pass this on for Spa to be managed appropriately.

It was very modern and clean and the minibar inside the room was good value for money .

I stayed in a room that was below the skybar and it was very noisy I did not get a good sleep 😟.I also think that complimentary breakfast could be added to the Superior room bookings .

Very good location for NEC - walking distance. As well as all facilities in resorts world. Very large room with everything you need. Paid for breakfast included, a number of hot and cold options.

I feel staff could have explained more about the spa, what’s included & whether we would have liked to book in for later. Same with an evening meal, asking if we wanted to book that. We went to the spa & asked if we could go in whenever we were told yes as long as not too full. We were told we could go in so mentioned we needed to go and get our stuff, were told this was fine but when we arrived back we were told there’s a waiting list. The breakfast items had very little vegan options. I did mention in advance there was one vegan guest. There were vegan sausages on the menu. I requested the porridge with soya milk but was told the porridge had milk in itself. Seems an easier option to have porridge with no milk then it’s another option. It would have been nice to be told by the staff at breakfast you could order off the small menu & them to come and ask if we wanted anything. It was around 7.15 we went for breakfast & I feel the staff member could have been more welcoming.

Perfectly peaceful and relaxing overnight stay

Smart, clean and quiet room. Nice facilities. Spa was lovely, first thing in the morning it was very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was a decent selection. I was given a room upgrade so felt a little spoiled. Beautiful views from the terraces in the spa and restaurant. Friendly welcome at reception and check in was very easy. Parking extremely convenient. Would definitely stay for a nice break again.

Great place to stay in a great location

Amazing location, 5 mins walk from NEC Exhibition Centre, and located inside a Shopping Centre. Cinema, Bowling, restaurants and Shops are literally right next door to hotel entrance. Lovely feel to the hotel, and very clean and well kept. Very nice swimming pool too.

The Wi-Fi - the Hotel doesn’t actually have its own WiFi as it uses the Resorts-World centre WiFi, which I found shocking! Unfortunately the reception in the room is average at best, and I found streaming during my stay very difficult. For a business hotel, I think this is something they need to sort out asap.

Visiting to attend the Grand Design show on the Sunday, glad we chose the Genting Hotel, fantastic.

The location was fantastic, overlooking the lake and the whole complex was nice. The hotel its self was very modern and clean with a welcoming atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and accommodating too. The signature room was very spacious and clean and most importantly very quite. The spar facilities were fantastic too and the flotation pod was great. The resort had a good selection of places to dine also. Overall, I'd say its the best location to stay if you are visiting for the NEC etc,
