The room was absolutely lovely! We used both the gym and spa facilities, which was all great! We had cocktails & dinner in the skybar restaurant, which was fab and you get a discount for staying!

Access to the spa was appreciated.
Room service meal was atrocious - if you're going to have an item on the menu then at least make sure it matches the description. A Thai satay with roasted pepper sauce and coriander salad should actually contain coriander and a sauce! The salad looked like it had been chopped by a five year old, took ages - apology received - and was lukewarm. In defence the reception sent up a pizza quickly but that was also pretty poor. The next day I realised I had left my reusable water bottle in the room. I checked out at 9am but didn't leave until 4.30pm due to a conference so went to ask at reception whether it had been handed in. The girl on the desk shut me down with a short "it's not been found", that was it, I had to push and the second girl on the desk took over. She was more helpful and actually went to look, then again came back to say it hadn't been found. if it hadn't been found that means that the cleaning staff had either thrown or put it elsewhere. Eventually the manager was brought who was more helpful. It still hasn't been found and I will need it replaced so will be contacting the hotel for a replacement.
