Family-friendly villa for max. 4 adults and 4 children (max 16y), on one sunny level, build in the beginning of the 80', easy accessible on the mountain Mas Nou, elevated position(300m).On Google map the villa is on Carrer Mas Tapes (GPS coordonates 41.827850 3.035398) but on the Urbanización this road is called Carrer de Girasolls. The street number is the same: P.405.The villa is the 5th on your right coming from Playa de Aro. Cosy living and dining place with fireplace , southerly oriented with a unique and fabulous view on the mountains and Mediterranean. 2 WC. Central heating. Fire cassette in living room, firewood available. From living room direct access to covered terrace with barbecue and private swimming pool, all on the same level and completely enclosed. The swimming pool ,with shower, is near - 5m - from kitchen and living room, solar heated adding max 2° in springtime and autumn and without chemical products (no red eyes, water is soft, positive effect on the skin). A second terrace has a view on the garden. Privacy guaranteed. Garage for 2 cars. Large enclosed garden (1900 sq.m.) with cork, pine and fruit trees and flower garden.

We have just got back from and have to say that the house has fantastic views, our 3 boys loved the pool, and we really liked the area. Lots of activities available for the kids and close to the beach.
The house inside is fine, the only thing we would have liked was a sofa in the lounge rather than lots of individual chairs......
Thanks for allowing us to stay in your house and we would definatly consider coming back next year!

We were looking for a quiet place in beautiful settings, with private pool and guaranteed sunshine. And this is exactly what we got.
The house is located in a private housing area on a sunny hillside ( evening sun until 19.30) with a stunning view, roughly 10min drive from Platja D'Aro (with well equipped Carrefour supermarket). Area is planned carefully so that the houses are not facing each other, creating almost ideal feeling of solitude and privacy. There is fair amount of forested areas around, one night we were surprised with a strange sound from the backyard - went checking and there was a whole family of wild boars with puppies... our kids were totally exalted and wanted to set up a nightwatch the following nights in order to see them again :-)
The house itself has 3 bedrooms. Is tastefully decorated - classic style, not fancy but comfortable and convenient. Terrace is right next to pool - this is where we spent most of our time anyway. The temperature around avg 27deg was just perfect as the hillside location kept away the excess heat You would experience in the cities. Small downside is the absence of AC - in the bedrooms it was too warm (at least for us from nordic country). There was one fan which though slightly helped. The beds are OK, though a little stiff for our preference.
The area itself has enough to do for a week - aquapark for kids, good food and nice traditional restaurants ( we preferred the villages of Llafranc and Tamariu in 20min drive), charming medieval towns (Rupit, Pals), Barcelona with it's famous Camp Nou, Gaudi creations etc.
Regarding the price level, Costa Brava felt a bit on a higher side. We have been used to rent a villa in Portugal and with comparable quality level the prices for house rent and food were more expensive.
Overall, me and my family had a wonderful week and we hope to be back again !
