Delightful house with large enclosed back garden close to sea

We had a wonderful stay in Judy Hammond house. I was with my family and we had great moment. Beach is just in front, 1 minute walking. House is small and nice. Take 4 minutes walking to reach the center. Le Crotoy is a nice small and typic village with bakery, restaurants, grocery, fish shop... everything you need in holiday :-) I recommend this house and Judy is very friendly.

We stayed at Judy`s wonderful old town house for a week-9th to 16th July. So close to the beach and a pleasant stroll into the town centre and the port. We were blessed with fine warm weather and made the most of it !! Lots of good resturants--plenty of mussels,fish and good wine ! We took the steam train to St Valery-sur-Somme to explore the old town -very popular. There is a big market on a Friday at the port-very French ! and beware no one really speaks any English and in fact we did not see one other british car in Le Crotoy for the whole week--marvellous. We had a bit of a problem parking off road in the driveway--apparently the gates open outwards onto the pavement so we decided to park on the road --no problems for the whole week. We had a great,peaceful holiday and will return to this region in the future. Rod & Zanette Norfolk

The description was very detailed and corresponded exactly. I would say a car bigger than mine, Picasso C3, would not be able to access the front parking space though. The house was very well equipped, we had atrocious weather during our week stay but the store of games, books, videos, and enough space to spread out meant we had a wonderful time anyway. There were 5 of us, we hired bikes from the hotel opposite and tried the train station at Noyelles, but trains on strike...so no Paris. The property was clean but well lived in. We felt as if we were in someone's much loved home. We shopped locally, big shop at Lidl in Rue but local fish and beautiful bread from le Pain Dore, daily. We walked, although wet, across the causeway and admired the wildlife. We walked daily into town along the beach. The house had all we could ask for and more; it is difficult writing such a good review as I worry I will not be able to book it next time! I would really recommend this house, and its owner to anyone.

The house was very big for the four of us. We were blessed with good weather, the house was so French and equipped with everything you could want. We cooked a lot, sat out on the balcony and conversed in very bad french with our French neighbour (whose dog was named Sarcozy!). The bedrooms were quite hot at night, but this did not overduly bother us. The parking space was most welcome and there is plenty to explore in the area. I would gladly return - it was a dream holiday for us. The only tiny quibble came from the teenager - no wifi???

This was a lovely home to stay in. Well-equipped with a superb location. Big enough for 8 people. We will definitely return.I have already recommended it to others.

This lovely house is perfectly located close to the beach and with plentiful restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great size house for us - family of four. The kitchen contained everything we needed, the bathroom's huge, with a good powerful shower. The water in the sink took ages to drain though, which was a bit of a pain when washing. The lounge and dining room are really homely. Enjoyed watching a few dvds in the evenings. Also appreciated the games provided, particularly yahtzee, which gave us several hours of competitive entertainment! Lovely big garden where many hours were spent enjoying the sunshine shine during the day and the barbecue during the evening. Upstairs the bedrooms were of a good size, and the beds more comfortable than ours at home! The bed in the back bedroom is larger than your regular double, probably more king size. We took a fitted double sheet with us which didn't fit! As the bed is so big it was also pretty cramped in there, but we soon got used to that. The basement could be better lit as the washing machine is down there. The decor in the house is a bit tired and it was quite dusty, but overall it had a good feel to it. The locks on the doors really need replacing as they weren't particularly easy to operate and didn't feel terribly secure. Having said that the town appears to be very safe as we didn't hear a single siren whilst there! It is an area we would definitely return to, and we are already considering booking the house again next summer as we had the most relaxing holiday we've ever had. We were encouraged to cook more with such a well equipped kitchen, which meant we didn't need to worry about getting dressed up to go out for the evening. We enjoyed many walks on the beach and loved the fresh fish and food bought at the local markets. Overall I would definitely recommend this house. Le Crotoy is lovely. Be sure to pack your French dictionary though as it is very French!

Groot genoeg voor 6 (4 volw en 2 tieners), evt. 8 met 4 kinderen. 1 douche/wc misschien wat krap, net als de breedte van de 2-pers. bedden. Verder goed uitgerust huisje in leuk plaatsje.

Un environnement très agréable, un jardin et une terrasse a l'Est bien agréable par fortes chaleurs. La mer et les commerces a deux pas. Dans un cadre manifestement créé par une artiste. De très bons contacts avec le propriétaire par écrit et par sa représentante sur place.

Ein schönes Haus mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Lage ist genial. Ein paar Minuten zum Strand, alles was einen Urlaub in Frankreich genießen lässt, in nächster Nähe.

Séjour agréable du fait de l’emplacement de la maison et jardin très plaisant et sécurisant pour les enfants. Un petit bémol sur les conditions d’hygiène.Il serait préférable de supprimer les tapis de la chambre d’enfants qui sont tachés et poussiéreux ainsi que celui du salon. De plus ,le matelas d’une chambre adulte devra être changé car souillé.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la très agréable maison de Judy. La localisation est parfaite, proche de la baie et du centre-ville du Crotoy. A recommander! Merci Judy pour les attentions!

After a few complicated days due to roadworks We had the most perfect stay in a ideal location for beach walks and fun with the kids. The House is very cosy and welcoming. Judy very understanding and friendly when We shared out concern with the road work Nuisance. We would stay again for sure !

Maison propre et chaleureuse Propriétaire sympa, disponible avec dame de charge prévenante et très gentille Situation parfaite dans le village, proche de tout Idéale pour 2 familles ( 4 adultes et 4 enfants) - Très chouette idée pour les enfants de la chambre à 4 lits

La maison de Judy est charmante et confortable. Les pièces de vie sont un peu petites pour un séjour hivernal à six (quatre adultes et deux enfants). L’emplacement est idéal, a deux pas de la mer et quelques minutes à pied des commerces. La personne en charge de la location est très réactive. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location !

Semaine très sympa en Baie de Somme. La maison est idéalement placée pour visiter. Elle est chaleureuse, bien équipée et très agréable. Très bon contact avec la propriétaire. Je recommande. Merci.

séjour très très agréable. la maison est décorée avec gout. les meubles, les objets déco, les canapés et fauteuils sont tous choisis pour donner une atmosphère de maison de famille, avec en plus des peintures charmantes . même les housses de couettes sont belles. le chauffage marche très bien et nous a permis de passer d'excellentes soirées après les marches en plein vent, voire dans la mer pour observer les phoques. une seule question..... pourquoi n'y a t 'il pas de cafetière?

Das Haus hat Flair und Charme und einen wundervollen Garten. Die Lage ist perfekt: Das Meer, das nächste Restaurant sind direkt um die Ecke. Auch ein großer Spielplatz mit öffentlicher Toilette und Imbissbuden sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar, falls man so etwas mit Kindern sucht. Die Entfernung zum Zentrum beträgt nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Das Haus passt in seinem Stil sehr gut zum malerischen Ort Le Crotoy.

The house was adorable and large enough. The big garden and the terrace near the kitchen were marvellous; from morning till evening we enjoyed the sunny weather! The kitchen and bathroom were a little outdated, but we were okay with it. The lady who “ keeps” the house was very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay, thank you so much!

Propreté impeccable.proprietaires dispinibles et chaleireux..parfaitement adaptée pour des petits enfants avec un jardin clos .rien ne manquait...excellent choix.

Maison pleine de charme et très bien équipée et située à 2 minutes de la plage. Excellente expérience !

La propriété est tout à fait adaptée à une grande famille avec bébé, pré ado et ado, il y a 2 chambres parentales et une chambre pour les enfants avec espace pour s'amuser ou pour discuter avec jouets ou jeux de société à disposition. Il y a un lit bébé et du matériel pour sécuriser ( barrière pour l'escalier, tapis pour la douche, jeux pour le bain, pot etc....bien utile car inutile de se charger!) Très bon accueil.

Nous avons passés une semaine dans cette agréable maison qui a tout le charme des maison de ville, cosy et accueillante. Sa proximité de la plage, des commerces et de l’aire de jeu est appréciable avec des enfants en bas âge. La maison est « ancienne » mais confortable. Petits bémols: la rambarde des escaliers dehors est un peu vieille et tous les DVD sont en anglais, un peu frustrant pour les enfants ;) Je recommande vivement cette maison et y retournerai avec plaisir pour de nouvelles vacances en famille, au bord de mer.

Très jolie petite maison, idéale pour une famille. La maison est extrêmement bien située, à 2 minutes de la plage, à 5 minutes des commerces. Petit jardin à l’arrière parfait pour que les enfants jouent en toute sécurité. La maison est par ailleurs bien chauffée (nous y étions en février). Et la baie de somme est magnifique ! Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour en famille. Seul regret, le frigo est vraiment trop petit pour une famille de 5 personnes ;-)

Très jolie maison, très bien située tout près des commerces et de la plage. Une maison dans laquelle on se sent bien tt de suite et décorée avec goût! Nous reviendrons

Maison familiale très agréable

Maison très bien située, tous commerces à proximité. Village et région très agréable. Il manque un étendoir à linge dans la buanderie (nous avons séjourné en hiver) à moins que nous ne l'ayons pas trouvé. Une cafetière filtre aurait été la bienvenue ;)
