About this villa rental
QUINTA AMARELA
The quinta located in a citrus grove, with a stunning tropical garden and great swimming pool 12 x 6, on walking distance of the center of Moncarapacho a very nice ( sleepy ) village. We have a few cozy restaurants, 3 super mercados, 3 bakeries, 2 benches, a post office, a small fresh market and not to mention a great potter!
Format:
The quinta is divided into two floors, both floors have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a super big balcony or a large terras that gives direct access to the garden.
All of this makes our house very suitable for 2 families, family breaks etc.
Outside the high season, the house can be rented per floor with 2/4/6 persons, you have the whole house, surrounding garden and the orchard for you alone!
Walk through our beautifully landscaped tropical garden with very large swimmimg pool ( 12 x 6 ) and you think you are in paradise!
In our citrus orchard you can pick as many oranges, manderins, avocados, medlar and lemons as you like.
Enviroment:
Our house is 8 minutes from Fuseta beach, very loved by families with young children, for a few euro's you can take a boat to the white beach of Parque Natural da Ria Formosa.
Here mass tourism has not been hit, but the beaches of Barril and Monta Rota are well worth a visit.
The largest city nearby ( 10 min ) is Olhao, famous for its dealy vegetables and fish market. The fish caught at night, bought in the morning and is on your plate in the evening.
Going out for Dutch terms is still very cheap and of course Portuguese wines can not be missed!

We had a wonderful week in this absolutely gorgeous villa. The pool and gardens are even better than shown in the photos. Plenty to keep our whole family happy - 8 adults and 3 young children. The children loved the trampoline and we all enjoyed the fab pool. Rene was friendly, welcoming and helpful from our initial booking until we left. We were all sad to go and would love to go back.

This villa is even better than we imagined - especially the pool and outside areas, the garden and the outdoor eating areas and BBQ were great.

This property is incredible. Its super clean, well decorated and has been thoughtfully prepared for guests. I highly recommend.We were a large group (5 families for a part of our stay) so we rented the entire property - 2 self-contained units (upstairs/downstairs) with 3 bedrooms each and a separate little cottage with a double bed. We had young kids with us so we really appreciated the childproofing at the house. The upstairs patio is well fenced and has gates at the top of each stairs. The pool area is separated from the house side of the garden by a gated fence that runs the entire length of the garden. The highlight is the large pool, which is very clean and well maintained, with lots of comfortable loungers. And the garden is just beautiful - there is an orange grove and also fig, avocado, lemon trees and more, a swing set, a nice lawn area and a little covered table in the middle ... just perfect.Both units in the main house have been recently remodeled and are decorated to a high standard, with lots of original character and traditional touches retained. Overall the upstairs unit is better - mainly because the kitchen is bigger, the main room is brighter and the upstairs bedrooms have air-conditioning while the downstairs do not. Having said that, the downstairs bedrooms were larger. The kitchens were well stocked with great appliances. Great separate laundry room. The internet connection was OK - for work on a VPN connection only 1 person could be on it at a time - but for regular web surfing it was fine. We didnt use the little cottage - its cute and nicely done but probably doesnt get much use.The house is about 25 minutes from Faro airport, about 20 minutes from Tavira (both the town and Barril beach on Ilha da Tavira, reached by train - great outing for small kids) and driving to other beaches along the Algarve was easy.Overall, I would highly recommend - a great base to explore the Algarve from and a perfect private retreat.
