About this country house rental
This rustic, rural retreat is surrounded by carob trees and has full use of its own large private swimming pool. The farmhouse is spacious but homely and welcoming with several areas and terraces for outdoor dining and relaxing in the shade.
Comprising two double bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 twin) both with en suite bathrooms (sleeps 4 adults.) A further 2 guests can be accommodated on a double sofa bed in the mezzanine area.
The whole property including the swimming pool is for the exclusive, sole use of guests. Pool size is 3.8 m (12 ft) x 6m (20ft.) At the shallow end the depth graduates from the steps to the deep end which is 1.8 metres (6ft.) The farmhouse is a much loved, privately owned family home on it's own land and is not part of a holiday complex or shared community.
Journey time from Faro airport is 30 minutes. There are a couple of small local bars within c. 15 min walk of the house (5 mins drive.) The nearest supermarket is approx 5-10 mins drive c. 15-20 mins walk. The town of Loule is c.15-20 mins drive with a great choice of restaurants, bars, clubs, historic buildings and farmers/other markets. It's about the same (20 mins drive) to places like Vilamoura, The Marina, Beach, Golf Courses etc. Due to its private and rural location, If you want to fully enjoy and explore all the area has to offer, car hire is recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. the house is situated close to loule and the mountains and the sea what more could a person want . Kirk and Dina were fabulous and looked after us very well .

Wir (2EW, 3Kinder) verbrachten eine wunderbare Zeit an diesem schönen Ort!
Das Haus mit dem herrlichen Garten und dem tollen Pool hat sehr viel Charme.
Gerade, wenn es heiß ist , ist die offene, schattige Loggia ein wunderbarer Aufenthaltsort.
Auch sonst gibt es viele schöne Pätze rund ums Haus zum Verweilen.
Zwischendurch gab es zwar kleinere Probleme mit der Verfügbarkeit des Wassers, aber jedesmal konnte unser Ansprechpartner vor Ort, das Problem kompetent und sofort beheben. Die Vermieter berichteten uns, wie die Mutter vor 30 Jahren mit viel Herzblut alles in Eigenregie aufgebaut hat und sie waren stets bemüht alles erdenklich Mögliche zu tun, um uns Gästen es so angenehm wie möglich an diesem schönen Fleckchen Erde zu machen.
Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und fanden v.a. toll, dass das Haus etwas abseits, im eher ruhigen Hinterland der Touristenzentren liegt.
Wir würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen, es ist ideal für Familien.

We stayed here in August for 2 weeks and wished we had 3 there! The property is exactly what we wished for, private, in the countryside but near to a town- Loule. We know the area and Loule is charming. The farmhouse is lovely and well appointed and the pool very private, it felt like home away from home. We would certainly book again and if you stay here, We would strongly recommend eating at Sol e Serra about 10mins up the mountain. Nicky and Sammy thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Very difficult to find, especially in the dark! Lots of mosquitoes and no air con in bedrooms.
All said, we had a wonderful time here chilling by the lovely pool, bbq in the evenings, satalite movies at night and it is very conveniently placed for main roads leading to main attractions and beaches.
We brought our 2 year old very boisterous and active grandson and he was perfectly safe and loved every minute.
