Great in the pics, not so much in real life

Great views/pool.

Location is terrible if you don’t have a bike. Long, steep and unpaved driveway makes it very isolated. Nightclub and construction site next door, not quiet at any time. Restaurant food is pretty bad, not sure what the other reviews are talking about. Geckos and geckos poop in the room, thankfully the staff was great and got us another room.

Best infinity pool facing the sea

I booked this hotel mainly for the infinity pool facing the sea, and I’m really glad I did. It is one of the best sea-facing infinity pools I’ve experienced. Watching the sunset while sipping a cocktail in the pool was amazing and far better than other pools in the area, such as Single Fin. The breakfast and food at the restaurant were excellent. You can also hire a scooter directly from the resort, which was very convenient. The rooms were a little old, but I didn’t mind at all. Overall, it was a very nice and enjoyable stay.

Nice place which needs maintenance

This used to be our favourite hotel in Uluwatu and I still like it somehow but it’s getting progressively worse with every year we come here. It looks like the resort (both the rooms and the pool) are not maintained. Firstly, the pool - the tiles are falling apart, lots of them are loose, some are broken. There is lots of sharp pieces of tiles in the pool. I scratched my feet to the blood twice. At this point this is unacceptable and creates danger. It was like that a year ago but it worsen and now much more of the pool is broken. Pool is a major facility at the resort and is presented in most of the pictures as a main attraction. This is not fair to keep it this way and do not do anything about it. It should be immediately repaired. I can’t belive that they don’t do anything about it. Secondly the room also needs maintenance. Some things need to be repaired for example our sink was broken, the door to bathroom did not work properly and furniture is very outdated. That are some minor things but considering that this is not the cheapest hotel - it should be repaired / replaced. I was expecting more considering the price. I think the owners should repair and renovate some of the things here otherwise it will loose the value and their guests.

Breathtaking TV Z

The view was breathtaking from all areas of the hotel including the pool overlooking the ocean. The shower may be one of the best I've ever had. The towels for both the pool and bathroom were beautiful and the body wash omg! Lovely selections for breakfast. The staff were truly lovely.

Great Place to stay in Bali!

We had an extraordinary stay for 4 days in one of their suites. uluwatu cottages have a fantastic location on a cliff overlooking the ocean. you can enjoy the sunset or the surfers riding the waves. pool needs some maintenance with some loose tiles, but is anyway beautiful. accommodation is clean and offers everything you may need. restaurant is wonderful, fresh and great food all day from breakfast to lunch. staff is extremely friendly! and make the vacation experience the real deal. thanks for the effortts! location is also great for sightseeing. uluwatus beaches and temples are all closeby.

Perfect place to stay

Breathtaking property. I can’t get over the beauty of this place. Loved our stay and staff were so lovely and accommodating. Easy walk to restaurants and Thomas beach. Loved the pool and sun lounges and good spot for massage and breakfast was really good.. everything you need at the property and easy to rent a scooter to get around. The monkeys were a cute nearby. Recommend staying and also good spot to see sunrise.

The pizza and burger at the restaurant was odd but the 2 salads and smoothies were great.

Lovely relaxing stay, close to town but a tranquil oasis away from the bustle of the town.

Love the grounds, the pool, the view, and the restaurant. The suite rooms are lovely with a porch and facing the pool and some the ocean. The included breakfast was amazing.

Didn't have anything I disliked. Because the hotel is in the heart of Uluwatu, you can hear music from the clubs until late at night. That said, it Uluwatu and it shouldn't be a surprise.

I was disappointed. Room without charm, bathroom to be redone and without a window.. worn furniture. Non-existent view from the room. Pool to be renovated, tiles are missing. Low quality-price ratio. Access road completely bumpy and dark. One night more than enough.

The location is really nice and beautiful!

Notwithstanding the brilliant location and amazing sea view, the maintenance of the facility is quite poor - as said by other people, many tiles in the pool are broken, overall renovation would be nice, wifi is shitty and often you need to reconnect. I would recommend to look for other option

Beautiful property, amazing views, and excellent location.

Amazing location with the best view. We had double room no 12 which had beautiful views across the pool and ocean. The gardens and property are so pretty. We spent many hours in the infinity pool looking out to sea.

The pool needs some maintenance - there were loose/missing tiles with a few sharp edges. Having said that, I wouldn't want to be the one to turn up and find the pool is closed for maintenance, so was happy to put up with it in order to be able to use the pool !

An oasis of peace and tranquility with amazing ocean views.

this hotel is an amazing resort, we had a bungalow room located less than 30 meters from the pool and the restaurant. The restaurant has wonderful vegan meals and we took all our meals there (fabulous breakfast was included). We were so comfortable and relaxed that we did not want to leave the hotel during our stay. The ocean view from the infinity pool, the restaurant was amazing. We had the hotel arrange transportation to the airport.

We liked everything. We just wished that we had booked a longer stay. The short road to the hotel from the main street needs some work but it is not the hotel responsibility.
