Besides the lovely room, we had a suite, there are numerous spaces throughout the hotel to sit and relax, either by yourself or with a small group.
The hotel has a lot of history and character. A very warm, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere!

Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. The hotel is wooden-made and has some beautiful Norwegian details. Friendly staff and tasty breakfast.
Dinner was not so good and too expensive, definitely not worht the price.

Great location, lovely vibe and an old world charm.
Maybe a kettle in the room would help for an early morning coffee !! Although coffee is available in the dining room after 7.30am 😊

This is a good location when travelling between the east and west of Norway. Helpful and nice personnel. The restaurant and bar facilities have a nice atmosphere.
The hotel rooms are outdated, and are not clean, with old and dirty curtains and chairs/sofa. For the price we expected more.
