We absolutely loved our stay at Podere Brizio! It's a romantic, cozy, and very quiet place surrounded by the real Tuscan ambiance — vineyards, rolling hills, and that dreamy countryside charm. The room was very cute, clean, and perfectly cozy — just right for a romantic getaway. The placement is exceptional, giving easy access to the surrounding villages and wineries, yet it's peaceful and private. The staff was super nice, attentive, and really went above and beyond. Everything we asked for, they made it happen — from printing maps and planning our daily itineraries to recommending local food spots and hidden gems to eat. We enjoyed the romantic dinner on site, home-cooked food — authentic, fresh, and made with love. They are truly prepared to do anything to make your stay unforgettable. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, and the typical Tuscan breakfast presentation was a lovely start to each day. We felt pampered, welcomed, and completely relaxed. This was one of our favorite stays ever — wonderful, relaxing, and filled with little details that made all the difference. We will definitely come back for sure!

Serene and tranquil with amazing food and wine

The most beautiful sprawling gardens and facilities. We adored our stay here. The staff were amazing and ensured we were looked after. We had the most amazing dinner at sunset looking at the gardens. Food and wine were incredible. Also a short drive to Montalcino for a wander and shop. Absolutely would revisit again!

The hotel is a typical Tuscan house, just like in the movies — exactly how I imagined it! There are so many cozy corners to relax in, beautiful green spaces, an amazing pool, and unforgettable views of the vineyards. But the real highlight was the staff — truly warm, attentive, and committed to making this the best stay of my life. A special thanks to Sara, who was incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we arrived until the day we left. And Pasquale, the chef, who prepared an unforgettable antipasto platter and the most incredible bistecca I’ve ever had! I’ll never forget this place — it was a dream come true.

There’s something strangely comforting about the fantastic breakfast. The location is beautiful, and the property itself is truly charming. Even in its simplicity, it offers remarkable comfort — a beautifully designed place that makes you feel at ease.

The comfort of the bed was horrible and the limited repetitious breakfast was intolerable!

Clean spacious room and bathroom. Although the placement of the toilet paper holder was difficult to reach. Had to remove to use each time.

Pillows were flat. Had to use guest towels and robes to prop under pillows. No top bed sheet for light coverage. Dovet was too hot. Restless sleep being hot then cold when removed. Bed mattress was sunken in. Breakfast was the same food for three days with limited variety. Poor service frantically rushing around trying to wait tables, get drinks and check guests out at the same time. Not organized!

Everything! The host was amazing, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, the bed probably the best bed I've ever had in a hotel room.

My only comment is that the shower was a little too small.

A little disappointed

Property description states there is a restaurant on premises. However, there is only ONE choice for dinner, take it or leave it. When I think of a restaurant I think I can order from a menu. You better check about the restaurant before you book if you want more choices. The property is located about 5-6 miles south of Montalicino where the restaurants are located.

I loved it!!! the place is amazing, the view and the sunset are breathtaking.

The breakfast was a bit small and not many options. They mentioned it was until 10:30am, I arrived at 10am and they didn’t have everything available and couldn’t refill it. I was a bit disappointed.

Tell only your best friends about this hidden gem in Montalcino!

The rooms are nice size with a very cozy bed and spa like bathroom. A lovely wine selection is featured in your mini bar to enjoy. Dinner was incredible! We had a home cooked 4 course meal with house olive oil, vinegar and wine. I mean the lasagna and 2016 Brunello...delicious! Breakfast was very good buffet style to fuel you up for the day ahead. We used the spa after a rigorous bike ride around the country side to ease our achey muscles. The staff is off the hook! Loved Vito! We will return to Podere Brizio for sure.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful and well kept property. It looks even better than the pictures. The rooms were extremely large and comfortable and the location is great for traveling the area. The staff are helpful and kind. We recommend it 100%!!!
