The location right in the historic centre is the hotel's saving grace and there's not much choice. There's a garage for bike storage.
Everything is old and worn-out, except the main dining room. It was clean but it felt like the 1960s.
The breakfast was a disaster. The hotel was full and for the staff's convenience, we were not allowed into the dining room but squashed into a tiny café area. There was one member of staff on duty to keep the buffet stocked, clear dirty plates and rubbish AND run reception and check-out. Food ran out, plates and rubbish and trays were everywhere, eventually on the floor, and the staff member seemed upset and unhappy. This happens when hotel owners don't love their hotels and their staff. If there's any choice in Langres, go somewhere else.
