OK for one night

Breakfast was good - additional cost. No tea/coffee facilities in room and no heat when I arrived at 6.30 pm in room. I had to switch on radiator and wait for room to warm up. No heat in bathroom at all. Only two television channels in French - very small tv. Luckily I speak French but was tired and went to bed immediately. OK for one night.

Tasteful old fashioned decor. Dinner excellent value for money. Parking in busy town centre.

Two flights of stairs to negotiate to bedroom. No lift.

All good, particularly for a Sunday and Monday

Location was perfect. The hotel had a restaurant which was great since we arrived on Sunday and left Monday. We could get some food. Supermarket down the road was closed when we arrived.

It was fine. Only issue was the TV not working or the remote. Sometimes to just sit in bed and zone out is nice.

Central but outdated

Very central location with best access to tour the city by foot. Good restaurant with fair prices.

We were sold a room with two double beds. There is no such room in this hotel as explained by the receptionist. We got a small room with a double bed and an adjacent smaller room with a single bed. There is parking space only if you reserve in advance so you probably won't get a spot for a same day reservation. We had to park away. Outdated and damaged decoration (torn tapestry), leaking faucet and shower. In need of renovation.

Secure parking for motorcycle and very easy to find. Very clean, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for enjoying an afternoon drink at the seating area at the front of the hotel.

Great location, lovely hotel with a great restaurant

The hotel was easy to find and in a fantastic location in the centre of the old town walkable to the ramparts and many bars and restaurants. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

For around £100 for the room for the night, it was good value and we'd happily stay there again.

A warm and friendly welcome from this small family-run hotel right in the middle of Langres. Booked as a one night stopover, breaking a long drive down to the Alps. We liked the dinner we had in the restaurant, and there was a good range of options on offer at the continental breakfast the following morning too (10 euros per adult; children free). We liked being able to park the car in the walled/secure area behind the hotel. We liked the setup of the family room we had with its two adjoining bedrooms.

Two minor points.: The furniture and décor of the room were a little dated. And once or twice we could hear a little bit of noise (e.g. a flushing WC) through one of the walls.

Superb

Quirky well established hotel, rather than a chic modern operation, in the main street of Langres. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive, the room was comfortable and warm, and our evening meal and breakfast were very good. The hotel did everything well.

Lovely building in old walled town. Clean functional but fairly small room. Excellent restaurant. Parking behind the hotel with entrance at the side that appears quite quickly so drive slowly ready to turn. Booking parking in advance advised. Staff here are very friendly and helpful.

The room was very nice and big with comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was mediocre with a very limited menu and very hurried and downright unpleasant waitress.
