A bit of a trek, but worth it once you get up there!

The property is in SUCH a beautiful spot. Once you make your way up, you have a perfect view of the alps and, for those of you who ski, you’re right next to the ski lift. The room itself was simple and nice, and the restaurant downstairs is AMAZING! I believe it opens at 18:30 for dinner service most nights of the week and they have a little bit of everything - pizza, pasta, meat, dessert. The surrounding area is adorable, very quaint and small town vibe.

Keep in mind that this is a bit of a trek. if you have luggage, walking this will prove difficult to impossible. there are parts of the road that have no sidewalk so you’ll be walking with cars, which at night can be quite scary. Also important to note taxi services are a bit difficult to get a hold of.

Need to make it clearer that the restaurant is closed on Mondays as we were not aware of this and as a group of 9 people arriving late on a motorcycle tour was dissapointing to have to walk into to the town for food/drinks.

Simple, but very good !

The location of the hotel, with a nice view on the city and the mountains was a plus for me : even without a car, one can find shortcuts and it's a matter of minutes to reach the center. Breakfasts were very good and the restaurant - pizzeria is famous, even in neighbouring cities. The personal is friendly and helpful. My room was spacious had a great view, but it is far from sound proof, one can actually hear the conversations in the neighboring rooms and there is noise from the restaurant before midnight, not too disturbing IMHO.

Buona base di appoggio per un weekend di sci a Bormio

Camera piccola ma adeguata al prezzo speso, così come la posizione. Colazione e cena buone. Impianti e centro del paese raggiungibili comodamente in pochi minuti di macchina. Ho utilizzato la struttura come base di appoggio per una notte per andare a sciare: se dovessi fare soggiorni più lunghi forse opterei per una camera più grande. Nell'insieme lo consiglio.

Peccato che non ci sono spazi comuni da utilizzare e che la zona reception è un pò piccola.

Ristorante ottimo: piatti tipici a prezzi onesti. Posizione: vicino al comprensorio di Bormio e al centro del paese, in una zona silenziosa. Staff: tutti molto gentili e disponibili. Colazione semplice, ma buona.

Camere datate e non insonorizzate tra loro (si sentivano i discorsi dei vicini e TV accese); rapporto qualità/prezzo delle camere non buonissimo, considerando che è una struttura datata e a due stelle. Deposito sci non molto attrezzato.
