This apartment is situated in a very calm area and despite the relaxing atmosphere inside the apartment you are very close to the modern city centre and the old historical town.
It's located in the modern area of Boavista. At a walking distance you can reach the famous Casa da Música (by Rem Koolhaas) and a nice shopping area or take the metro downtown.
From here you can easily reach:
* supermarket at 5 min. walking distance
* metro station (Francos) at 200 meters/2min. walking distance
* sea/beach at 5 km away from here (ideal for swimming, lying on the sun, esplanades, surfing, walking, ...)
* big shopping center (with famous and good brands) at 10 min. distance
If you come by car, you easily reach the apartment as we are close to the main highway's accesses (A1, A28, A29, A4, A3, etc).
Getting around:
You can park your car outside, but to be safer we recommend you to use our parking space. There is no extra cost for this, as this is included in the price per night.
Transfer to or from the airport (one way) is also possible on request for 25€ (at any time). Special offer: transfer to AND from the airport: 40€.

Schöne Wohnung, vollständig eingerichtet, sauber und ordentlich. Heizung funktioniert! Kurzes Weg zur Metro. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite und mehrsprachige Vermieterin.

Sara and Hugo are excellent hosts. Hugo welcomed us to the apartment and showed us how everything worked. They responded to our questions promptly. The apartment was just as presented on the VRBO website. The beds were very comfortable.
We loved the neighborhood. The apartment had ample information on what to do in Porto. We loved that the Metro was just steps away.
If we return to Porto, we will stay there again.

Eu e a minha filha ficámos em setembro pasado uns dias no apartamento da senhora Sara Pinto.
Encontrámos uma casa muito confortável, bem equipada e sobretudo muito limpa. A hospedeira Sara è uma mulher muita simpática.
O apartamento está situado num bairro muito calmo do Porto e fica perto da estação de metro Francos donde se pode apanhar diferentes linhas de metro. Em suma: um endereço perfeito para descobrir o Porto e os locais litorais vizinhos.

The apartment was nice and clean but there is no air conditioning so it is very warm. We needed to keep the windows open to sleep at night to try and cool it off. THe neighbours dogs barked all night. They are very noisy. If there was air conditioning or quieter dogs we would have given 5 stars. Our stay was for four nights. We left extremely tired.
