Clean hotel. But need to fix the hott water situation on the higher floors.

I was on the 12th floor and had not hott water in my shower. And if it did warm up a little bit it took 20 min for that to happen.

The hotel is not equipped to handle the amount of people since there are 3 hotels styles using the same lobby facilities. There are only 2 elevators for Garden Inn Style - yet 6 rooms on each floor with 23 floors. One of the waits was 17 mins to get an elevator.

The service and the breakfast were awful.

I like the amount of space I had in one bedroom suite, but we were all bug bitten after sitting on the couch. Very creepy. I like the location as we were in Chicago for a trade show and the proximity to McCormick is great. I also like the roof top bar.

No bug bites. Better service. One of my colleagues was made to change rooms despite having made our arrangements early. We were very busy at the show and staff refused to move her packed luggage to the new room.

Nice staff but I won’t stay there again.

Bathroom leaked and didn’t drain. Felt kind of gross. Both the sink and the bathtub were impossible to drain and the toilet made a weird noise.

fun and fresh!

room was clean, spacious, and close to where i needed to be. love that it is close to chinatown as well. staff was really kind and helpful despite the chaos. also enjoyed how there were snacks and a starbucks in the lobby. bed was comfy and sheets were cozy.

the toilet is too tall. i'm 5'6 and i was on my tip toes sitting down so it was really uncomfortable to go #2. i ended up having to stack a bunch of towels on the ground to feel normal. i know changing the toilet would be really expensive, i just don't understand why such tall toilets exist.

Nice Hotel Conveniently Located

The hotel is in a shared facility with another hotel. The lobby was spacious and clean and the staff friendly. The rooms are large and well-equipped. We had a large window with a nice view or our surroundings. We were not staying for a convention, but instead a concert at Huntington Bank Pavilion. It was an easy walk to and from. Also, I took the L and it was just down the street from the station.

The restaurants in the area close pretty early - other than the White Castle down the street.

Comfortable hotel in downtown Chicago

The hotel room was beautiful. It was quiet and had a nice restaurant. Staff were very helpful. I was able to check in early. The hotel text and checked in to see how my stay was. The TV did not allow for streaming, so we couldn't watch our shows, but there was good cable with lots of movies. Really close to soldier field.

Waited toooo long!

I liked the location because it was very convenient. It was within walking distance of my activities and centrally located and easily accessible from the highway.

Check-in 4pm, but my room was not available upon arrival. 😢 I waited 2 hours and still no room.😡 I actually had to ask for a manager after being told that I would be notified when it was ready. It was only then that I received my room. The manager didn't offer any apologies or compensation for my inconvenience. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend because of that inconvenience. 👎🏽

The service in the restaurant and the fact that only one elevator was working on 4th of July!!! It was so overcrowded and long wait times. Ridiculous!

Would not stay again, hotel did not use booking.com services well

Clean facilities. Typical Hilton Garden Inn. It is combined with the Hampton and Home 2 suites, meaning they all share the same pool, lobby with Customer Service, but different breakfast set-ups. The location is right next to the conference center, but otherwise there is not much around there. relatively quiet. Being in the city meant even on the 14th floor heard sirens throughout the day and night.

Paid more than $600 per night. Said it was due to the conference. Never played that much for any room st a conference and this certainly was not an exceptional place to stay. Pool water was murky. Lower level customer Service was nice but seemed to not have autonomy from upper management and difficulty with basic decisions. Though I had breakfast and confirmed on booking.com, the staff insisted that I did not have it. Using booking was almost a punishment for this hotel. They finally gave us breakfast but it was an unpleasant and unnecessary experience. They also had issues printing my invoice for my stay…. Just basic issues I haven’t had other hotels.

Great accommodations, busy for holiday weekends.

The location was great, right in the middle of downtown and we were able to get to our hotel fairly quickly despite the traffic.

If you are traveling during a holiday weekend, I recommend possibly going to a smaller hotel. There was a lot of traffic in this hotel due to the holiday weekend and also a few concerts and events that same weekend. I know the staff were trying really hard, but there was just not enough people to accommodate the surplus of guests.

Location was great.

There were hair pins on the floor and trash still in the trash can from previous person's stay. Conditioner bottle was completely empty. No information about amenities/restaurants was provided.

The location is excellent, especially for someone attending conferences at the McCormick Place so it's a walking distance either internally from within the hotel with the bridge connecting to the convention halls or outside just a few blocks of walking distance.

This is the first hotel I've ever stayed in where water was not complementary and charged. The staff did not make this clear and I was charged for water. Additionally, the bedsheets and the towels were stained and not clean, even when they were replaced! This is disgusting and the hotel management really need to pay attention to this. Also, there's no room service which again is a very un-hotel like feature and such items should be made very clear across all platforms where bookings are made. With multiple basic hotel features missing and services in dire need of improvement, the cost per room should be reconsidered.

Great location, near trains, buses. Chinatown is a 10 minute walk away exceptional staff

The room we selected was a corner room and it was perfect for our stay. Though we arrived early and could not get a higher floor as we wanted they were able to put us into a room immediately. This on a Sunday morning in the middle of morning turnover 10:30-11:00 AM. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful from the gentleman cleaning windows, (did not get his name) but he was working 2nd floor on Monday afternoon), to the entire front desk staff.

Would stay again - nice hotel!

I think they did an excellent job, considering that there were many people there for a volleyball tournament. My biggest issue was that there were two elevators, one of which was not working. This meant extremely long waits for an elevator. Unfortunately, taking the stairs was not an option. If taking the stairs had have been an option that would’ve been much better. I wish they would’ve made the stairs accessible during the time the elevator was out of service (which included the entirety of our stay). Other than this, everything was handled pretty well by the hotel. The on-site gym was really nice and I really was appreciative of being able to work out during my stay. My daughter really enjoyed the pool.

Parking is a nightmare

The location is close to alot of things.

The parking is an absolute nightmare, even with "valet" parking. Be prepared to wait an hour to retrieve your car. Or leave before the 11am checkout and you may be in luck.

It's very close to McCormick Place and even has a bridge, so you don't have to leave the building.

The free WiFi is so slow that websites feel you are back at a dial-up modem. If I pay $300+ for a night, I expect free good WiFi. It's 2024. It's like you get free cold water and have to pay for warm water.

Beautiful property in a very convenient location. Our room was exceptional. It was on the corner so we also got great views of the city.

There is a lot of loitering in front of the property in the late afternoon to evening hours and that can make people feel unsafe. There are also smokers right outside the building which is not a big issue but can still be gross.
