Typical converted stone barn, 130 sq. m., holding up to 6 persons with 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house has two large verandas perfect for outdoor meals, a barbecue, large garden and private swimming pool and is an ideal solution for groups of friends or families with children who love relaxing outdoors.

The house is immersed in nature and is encircled by a large enclosed garden, all lawn, where you will find the rectangular swimming pool, 11 metres by 6 with a depth of 1.45 metres, surrounded by a paved area with sunbeds and beach umbrellas. Beside the pool, you will find a shaded area with table and barbecue for outdoor meals. The house boasts a large panoramic portico, furnished with a table and chairs, accessible from the living room. Next to the barn, with outdoor access, is a washing room with washing machine. Parking in the property.Interior
The structure has been carefully restored whilst maintaining traditional aspects, like wood beams on the ceilings and typical Tuscan cotto flooring. The furniture is in a rustic style. The house is on two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with antique stone sink and a living area with a sofa, a splendid ornamental fireplace, a satellite TV with DVD player. Also on the ground floor, a twin bedded room and a bathroom with shower. The first floor has two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

Pool available from May 9th to October 3rd. Check-in from 3-7pm only. Only small pets are allowed, at the fee of 50 euros per week. The staircase which leads to the upper floor has no banister, meaning that children have to be supervised and the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.Activities and Distances

You can visit the many beautiful surrounding towns, such as Certaldo, home to Boccaccio; Volterra, Etruscan town of excellence; Pisa and many others. The Via Francigena is one of the most interesting roads to explore by foot or mountain bike. Siena is also not far, as is Florence.

The location and villa are just perfect. A 40 minute walk into San Gimignano so lovely for all to enjoy time out of the car. A walk back in the evening was lit by the fireflies. Just magical. The villa has everything you need for a comfy stay. The owner is totally delightful and so helpful. The views are just gorgeous. We drove to Poggibonsi and took the train into Florence. Very easy. Volterra and Colle di Val D’ Elsa were local towns worth a visit. There’s also a walk along the river in Colle Di Val D’Elsa that’s lovely with swimming spots.

Das Haus "Villa Alba" liegt ca. 1,5 km nördlich von San Gimignano umgeben von Weinbergen und Olivenhainen.. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Toskanische Hügellandschaft. Der Pool ist mit 11 x 6 x ca. 1,5m deutlich größer als er auf den Fotos aussieht. Außerdem gibt es am Pool noch eine (kalte) Dusche. Die überdachte Terrasse eignet sich ideal zum Essen (wir haben ausschließlich im Freien gegessen). Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattes, was man braucht. Wenn nicht gerade ein Bauer in der Umgebung tätig ist, herrscht absolute Ruhe. Bis auf das Vogelgezwitscher ist gar nichts zu hören. Vor dem Haus können drei Autos geparkt werden. Einziges Manko ist das Fehlen einer Klimaanlage. Für heiße Sommernächte stehen dafür Ventilatoren zur Verfügung.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt und vor allem die Ungestörtheit sehr genossen und können sagen, dass das Angebot den stolzen Preis wert war.

Il fienile è immerso nella splendida campagna senese con vista mozzafiato, soprattutto dalla piscina.
La struttura è ben ristrutturata e gli interni ampi, puliti e curati.
