Friendly agriturismo in a beautiful part of Tuscany. The large, well equipped pool had lovely views over the hills and the town of Poppi, and was sunny all day (with umbrellas for shade). The old building has been nicely converted into apartments. The location is fantastic for exploring the Casentino and Eastern Tuscany as well as Florence. We enjoyed being in the hills for hot days, cooler nights and no mosquitoes. Poppi and other surrounding towns are beautiful and not as touristed as most parts of Tuscany. Fantastic good value restaurants are close by. Best of all, Giorgio was a fantastic host who was always ready to help or give suggestions, and this created a nice atmosphere among the guests. We had a great week and hope to return.
