We had a lovely time in the apartment which was spacious quiet and very central with lovely city views

The view from the Living Room is lovely Swifts flying at the back of the building and a good view over rooftops Benoit is very helpful and friendly The flat is on the third floor with a staircase of 3 x 16 steps so wouldn’t be for everyone

With a few changes the property could be excellent Some new shutters - we didn’t dare close the ones at the back as we thought they might fall off My husband bought a sleep mask as only net curtains The bed is on wooden pallets very low to the ground and not the most comfortable New crockery and cutlery would be a good investment A lead for the dvd player

Apartment nice and big, bed comfortable, fairly quiet for a city centre, plenty of towels and hanging space, fast fibre connection. Dishwasher and microwave a plus (we found 1 dishwasher tablet, phew!). Lovely view out over the square in front of the town hall, big windows that open, very short walk into the centre of Vannes and its history (location perfect). Any follow up questions I had were quickly responded to by the owner. Price ok for a city centre.

3rd floor, suggest you review parking in Vannes before you arrive, there may be places but you have to pay at certain times. Palais Des Arts car park is free and only a ten minute walk away, park there underground for as long as you want after dropping bags off (beware no car access during car park closing hours). Bed low down on pallets but comfortable, no curtains anywhere so beware naked wanderings, no soap in bathroom, sink is soap/toothpaste-stained, bit of a sewage smell from the bathroom, oven tray not clean, glass front panel above oven controls smashed and fixed with sellotape (still functional), no toaster (use grill), no condiments such as salt, shower sprays into the bathroom as there is a not a shower door, had to make our own bedding (cover and quilt), Wi-Fi code on fridge not accurate - consult the box under the tv. Some flat-pack cabinets coming apart. Couldn’t get coffee machine to work. Annie who helps the owner arrived a little late with the keys but this was not an issue for us at all, and she didn’t speak any English but we muddled through. 3 flights of stairs would be a negative for some, especially dragging luggage up, although I would stay here again, but won’t be coming back to Vannes as the local idea of Vegan food is to more or less ignore it’s existence :-D

Terrible unpleasant smells coming from the bathroom and toilet. Smelled fungus. The towels while they looked clean/washed they smelled awful. Overall cleanliness of the house is quite low. All the walls are dirty, plenty of dust behind the bed, dirty appliances. It gave us an unhygienic sense.

Great location but in need of renovation and a deep clean

Location is excellent, though parking must be paid. and the personal greeting was warm and comprehensive “Here is the cleaning equipment”. The bed is low and comfortable and we slept well and free of late night noise. Vannes itself is delightful and the property offers great access to its most interesting quarters.

Property is dilapidated inside and out. By far the shabbiest exterior on an otherwise pleasant city street, the inside is as unprepossessing - from the depressing hall and stairs, to the grimy apartment interior. Things constantly come off in your hands or beneath your feet, from handles and curtain rails, to taps and kitchen kick boards. Meanwhile the shutters are barely attached to the window exteriors. There was only enough hot water for one short shower. Did I mention it was grubby?

Zentral, ideal um Vannes zu erkunden.

die Lage war exzellent. Mitten im Zentrum. Allerdings ist es etwas laut gewesen von der Straße her, auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern, und eher hell, mit Ohropax und Schlafmaske ging es gut- ich bin aber auch empfindlich. Die Wohnung war groß und geräumig und der Vermieter sehr zuvorkommend und nett und hat alles gut erklärt.

Es war laut- Straßenlärm, aber dafür kann der Vermieter nichts.

Il proprietario era più attento al booking dell'appartamento che alle esigenze dei clienti!

Ambiente pulito e spazioso anche se il terzo letto era la chaise-longue del divano.

Dispone di doccia ma non ci sono shampoo e bagnoschiuma per lavarsi e manca anche l'asciugacapelli, c'è il WC ma manca la carta igienica, c'è la lavatrice ma non ci sono detersivi per fare un lavaggio. Per un soggiorno breve non si può fare la spesa essenziale prima di entrarci!
