The house is large and comfortable with abundant hot water and all necessary amenities. Within walking distance or a short car ride to restaurants and a 30 min drive to Ypres and WW1 sites. Owner was helpful and relaxed about the house and we had a lovely stay. Very happy with the house and location overall.

Kamers voldoende, twee douches, waarvan 1 in een bad zonder spatscherm die dan ook niet is gebruikt. Dus eigenlijk 1 douche voor 14 personen. Door spreiding avond ochtend op te lossen. In de omgeving niet gelijk veel te doen. Naar Ieper geweest. Dat was goed uitje.

Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder plus 3 Hunde und hatten alles was wir brauchten. Das Haus und die Einrichtung sind zwar älter, aber alles sauber und in Ordnung. Wunderschöner Garten und tolle Lage. Zum Strand führt toller Weg durch die Dünen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Heel leuke locatie om een groot familieweekend te hebben.Een prachtig uitzicht.Een leuke zitplaats waar je met z'n allen kan samen zitten. Wij vonden het sanitair te weinig. Het duurde ook lang eer het water warm werd.Onlogische samenstelling van keuken en eetkamer.Gelukkig is er een doorgeefluik.Bijna geen koffielepeltjes.

Schitterende locatie, maar de communicatie via Homeaway scoorde zwak: ik kreeg nooit een bevestiging van mijn laatste betaling en zelfs geen adres van de vakantiewoning door. Via via dan maar rechtstreeks contact genomen met verhuurders en zo kwam alles nog in orde.

We enjoyed our stay at the top of Hoge Blekker, a short walk/bike ride to the beaches and the local towns. The house was as described with comfortable common rooms as well as bedrooms, except there is no pool at the house (however, public pools are nearby). We recommend a stay at the house and in Koksijde!

Dit is een ruim familehuis, op een mooie plek, waar wel nog wat aan te verbeteren valt. Er is te weinig servies/bestek voor kinderen. De verstrekte handdoeken zijn van theedoekformaat en de verlichting is schaars en niet van deze tijd. Verder is de waterdruk erg laag en de sanitaire voorzieningen aan de magere kant voor zo’n groot huis. De ligging is geweldig met een mooi uitzicht naar alle kanten en ~ 20 minuten lopen naar het strand. Voor ons zeker voldoende reden om nog eens terug te komen, als de genoemde punten worden aangepakt.

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Leider gab es in einem der Bäder kein heißes Wasser,so dass wir mit 12 Personen eine Woche nur eine Dusche nutzen konnten. Zudem ist die Balkontür in einem Schlafzimmer defekt und war nur notdürftig mit Panzerband zugeklebt. Seit dem Silvesternachmittag war im kompletten Wohn- Essbereich und in Teilen der Küche kein Strom mehr. Offensichtlich war durch starken Regen, der über den Balkon auch in die Küche tropfte, eine Leitung beschädigt worden. Die Vermieter waren selbst in Urlaub und so hatten wir bedauerlicherweise keinen Ansprechpartner, der uns hätte weiterhelfen können. Trotzdem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit und haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Lage oben auf der Düne ist herrlich. Man hat eine weite Sicht und ist direkt am Naturschutzgebiet. Ein Fußweg führt an den Strand, allerdings läuft man fast eine halbe Stunde. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist eher dürftig (sehr sparsame Kücheneinrichtung, es fehlt Salatbesteck und Vorlegebestecke, es fehlte ein Wasserkocher, für die Kapazität des Hauses hätten wir gerne den einen oder anderen größeren Topf gehabt, die Holzstühle im Wohnzimmer waren teilweise kaputt, Steckdosen funktionierten teilweise nicht), die Besitzer sind jedoch sehr angenehm im Kontakt und kümmern sich sofort, wenn man sich meldet. Große Auswahl an Kinderspielen, Platz für ca 14 (!) Personen. Angesichts der wunderbaren Lage, des großzügigen Platzangebots und der sehr netten Vermieter und des sehr günstigen Angebots fiel es uns nicht schwer, unsere Zeit im Pic au Vent zu genießen. Vielen Dank!

Ein ideales Domizil für eine größere Gemeinschaft mit ihren Hunden (9 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder und 7 Hunde). Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme und liegt in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Die schönsten Spaziergänge fangen direkt vor der Haustür an. Der Strand, ist außerhalb der Saison, ein Paradies für Mensch und Hund. Im Haus ist viel Platz und man hat alles, was man so braucht. Gibt´s Fragen oder Probleme, ist sofort jemand da, um zu helfen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank an Sigi und Joe für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub.

Et depuis là-haut, vous avez une vue magnifique sur la plus haute dune de Belgique, avec la mer du Nord dans le fond ! Nous avons passez un magnifique WE. Nous étions 9 mais il y avait encore place pour 4 autres personnes sans problème. La Villa est spacieuse et lumineuse, toutes commodités agréables ( 3 WC, 2 salle de bains, chambres très grandes, cuisine et belle vaisselle en suffisance...). De plus il y a le jardin clôturé avec barbecue et grande table . Les dunes sont à deux pas (la villa est dans un cul de sac donc pas de passage de voiture et juste à l'entrée des dunes) Nous avons fait de merveilleuses promenades (bien balisées) et jeux dans les dunes. Nous vous recommandons cet endroit spacieux, calme, lumineux, à l'abri du vent et sans danger pour les enfants.
